Yeah it’s been years since I watched but the giant bird spirit was a great antagonist for that episode

All of those episodes live together imo but I get how people would get caught up in the great Appa arc that follows

I was slightly too old for og show so I never watched but my gf is a stan and we went to the live Orchestra performance last week it was really good. Gave a pretty good sense of the show. Leaves from the vine was super sad
