Its amazing for a children's show but if you compare it to any of the top anime in the east writing wise (Cowboy bebop/Lain/Eva) It definitely falls short

Idk, in its totality, I really appreciate season 2 of LOK. We learned so much lore about the Avatar, and the spirit world. Visually might be my favorite season. The climax of it all with giant Korra wasn’t the best thing in the world but still enjoyable. As bad as people say it is I’ll watch season 2 of LOK over season 1 of ATLA any day

I think the hate is somewhat overblown, but overall I would like to see more untapped Spirit World action in the next series.

Would love to see twin earth bending Avatars where one is captured at birth and taken to the spirit world by the Red Lotus. Have that side trained and semi-brainwashed to believe that technology is the root of evil and should have never been advanced as far as it has...Destruction of that will bring balance back as Aang once did.

Then you'd have a main villain for the series and could tie in all sorts of s***.

The way Katara beat Azula in the finale might be my biggest disappointment with the show. Just felt super cheap and lame.

Aang is garbage lol. Dude disappeared for a 100 years just to come back and get killed by Azula.

Then got resurrected with magic water just to get f***ed up by Ozai but got bailed out by a magic turtle and a rock that just so happened to have a sharp edge sticking out that triggered his avatar state. What a f***ing joke

The only reason she even fought her again was cause of plot. Why the hell was she just standing there beside Zuko in the middle of the agni kai...
