They definitely were...especially Miles Davis holy s***. I feel like KTT always makes everything about race though. When people denounce Elvis as the "King of Rock" and that modern dance music was invented by blacks, I will definitely agree. But when it comes to cold hard facts that a white guy actually did pioneer something within the industry, there is no need to make an argument about racial discrimination when it's proven otherwise.
I think most of that is due to the fact that alot of black artists didn't have the resources or push alot of white artists did in those years
A large portion of the critics, publications, journalists, label owners and population was predominately white
But race aside I learned new things today regarding the origins of Rock music and music in general
Thanks for your insight and srry if I came off as hostile LOL
I'm super passionate about Pop music and Michael Jackson

MJ had 72,000 in attendance on July 16, 1988, when 1D performed at the venue on they had 78,000 in attendance and that was "sold out" for three nights in a row.
72,000 in attendance for 7 nights in a row is crazy.
Michael Jackson sold out stadium for over 125,000 people in 1988
There's a crazy article about him preforming for 500k people but idk if that's true

I'm talking in respect to the UK but yh those numbers are crazy
What kind of stuff are you into? Personally I'm not a fan of their sound pre-1966 because it just sounds like your typical 60s pop band.
However from the album Rubber Soul on is where their music starts to get really special.
Help! is the album they started to get special for me (and not just because of Yesterday lol) but you're definitely right. I enjoy the early stuff for what it is though
Whoever think Drake is MJ status is smoking crack. And we don’t care about what crackheads think.

Different Wembley stadiums. Jackson holds the record at over 500,000 fans for Wembley.
