The 2000s aesthetic is back in full swing and the world needs their true sound back more than ever... Pharrell is just always trying to be on some avant garde "must never repeat what I already did in the past" s***. Their entire sound is predicated on 7th and 9th chords and the bass was never ever the prominent instrument in their production until now. Their sound literally cannot work in this modern era production structure. Yet they keep trying. And failing.
