Going to watch the third rn
Ye seemed resentful around Coodie post-Donda’s passing. Not really sure what happened there.
i wonder if he didn’t like the tribute he made for donda at her funeral or something
Why is it that a lot of his alternate versions of songs usually got better lyrics (when he’s not mumbling)
Y’all think this will win any awards?
No
The director made himself a to big part of the movie and it felt cringe

its his life of filming kanye lmao

You know, that's actually a good point. He probably felt a way about Donda having him film her after they already weren't close anymore.

i think he does this to try to get more quotables rather than just try to get the “best” lyrics possible
Yeah should’ve ended it after the first two episodes.

this was never a spectator documentary
its Coodie's story, that happens to be about Kanye
I feel like maybe you're upset because you expected it to be the definitive, all encompassing documentary on Kanye - but its not, otherwise they would have filled in the gaps that they didnt film from other sources (more than they did)
Coodie felt like an actual character in the documentary who was leading us through the story, rather than just a silent camera guy and it worked so well
Everyone was looking hella uncomfortable in that jet when he was spitting that freestyle on his phone

idk how many times this has to be explained
We wouldn't have this documentary if it wasn't for Coodie's vision of filming Ye when he just a local artist. It's part of his own story as well.
how the f*** can anyone complain about this documentary
we probably won't ever see anything like this again for a while
Extremely heartbreaking and heartwarming to see a friend from way back caring about him in 2017.

Can someone please find the thread from the OG KTT when that video first was released. It was literally the first time Ye was filmed outside smiling after the pablo melt down

Also, the calm moments in China, foregrounded by the knowledge that he would soon stop talking his meds, are very bittersweet.
