I disagree
and I respect that but you can look all over the internet a lot of what you see people applauding this for is how it allows them to hate on Elizabeth . As well as another constructed villain. With the climax at the dinner creating cheers as soon as his love of Charlie Kirk is mentioned
paying someone to be in a documentary is established as a conflict of interest correct ?
so...................................

Yes, and I think those people are missing some of the themes the film is trying to communicate. But people do that for every movie
Really wanna see this... gotta wait till next month smh
TONIGHT.
that's the woman you can kill in cruelty squad
My showing tonight is completely sold out man, goddamn.
there was maybe a dozen in mine yesterday (kinda a lot for a 2pm showing here)
glad I dont live in a place with packed theaters or maybe its just the time and day I tend to go

real interesting discussions
10:30 am showing in one hour
nobody wins review in 1 hour and 30 minutes
If Amanda is somehow able to win best supporting for this after winning the Emmy for The Dropout that would be insane
Damn who edited my thread title lol
Unity did he wants spoiler tags and he strict on it
Saw it on opening day. The crowd was insufferable at times.. bunch of Nathan for you normies who thought every look was a joke.
4.5/5 must see
My theater was fine. Felt like the first laugh didn’t come until maybe 30 mins in I wasn’t keeping track. First big laugh was the no you don’t like but yeah. Not knowing Nathan at all, I was able to be pretty unbiased. I only laughed at a couple of moments overall.
Billy feels like a fictional character written by Rachel Sennot lmao
I also was going into this movie thinking it was a full recreation of events with actors and everything because I didn’t know EH. I thought that’s why it was getting so much praise because they were doing some 4d recreation inside of a recreation film
my mind needs to be studied.
I am beginning to wonder what movie people watched or if they really just wanted revenge p***
we can officially acknowledge that its not a documentary we are making progress
Wait why not?

I thought there would be recreation of lead up to theranos and patients confronting her about the false test to make her reconcile with that rather than Nathan just continously ask her if she feels bad or remorse in different ways while she lays out her plan for the sequel
they mirrored this shot with the last one
glad you brought that up bc that last shot was brilliant for me i was more focused on the fact that i didn’t really know if it was her or her
Wait why not?
they arent running it as a documentary and a documentary having actors and actresses that can be nominated for awards is bizzare. ESPECIALY if you limit her acting to solely the parts she has as Elizabeth

That’s fair because I’m not sure if I’d consider the rehearsal or Nathan for you to be documentaries and both have elements shown in this but I’d still say it’s documenting a subject
idk this was weird
Weird in a good way
