What was written on the paper in her windshield wipers? I only saw a phone number, but I think there was a message above it.

“For a good time”
Ti West tried harder to take the piss out of fundamentalist Christians and go overboard with ‘80s nostalgia that he forgot to make a horror film
yeah i fw both x and pearl but this was a mess lmao
If they would've given this more time & effort, it probably could've been good.
Oh well

plot was way too convoluting, so we're supposed to believe some random dude was supposed to be the night stalker when the film was hinting at it being maxine? mia was good as per usual but it seems ti west just got lost in the sauce in this one
I thought it was a blast. Had a lot to say about it and the conversation around it.

You realize the Night Stalker was a real serial killer in the 80’s. There’s even a big Netflix documentary about him. The film even shows sketches of him in the beginning and it’s clearly a guy. It’s never suggested to be Maxine.
I enjoyed this enough, but something about it fell flat for me. My least favorite of the trilogy off first watch, but feel like I will appreciate it more the second time around. Would probably still give it a 7/10
