just finished, as someone who only saw the first movie once or twice as a kid and never cared about the series that much, was a decent movie. i don't think it got outright bad in the second half but there's definitely a difference between before the long ass speech from neil patrick harris and after in terms of how into the movie i was. only saw it now because i'm visiting family for the holidays and they got HBO max, might be harsher on it if i'd payed money to see it though.

overall probably wouldn't recommend it to a friend but didn't feel like i wasted my time watching it either. 6/10

I mean I respect both but if I just wanted action I could watch better fights or John suck with philosophy playing in background and make up a Story . Like if you wanted John wick with technology cool effects and philosophy but at end of day you want action most then you got wick there s*** you got kingsman same week

It's not about action but it's most definitely a huge part of the original films and a big reason why they are so iconic. Anyone who says anything else is simply fooling themselves.

They literally went from fighting smiths and major set pieces to homeless , smith, a lil girl and extras . We the enemy now more than the enemies of the past
