Those bottom 2 picks are interesting
NWH or BP2 both have their flaws but you really think they are the absolute worst post- Endgame entries ?
The first half of BP2 is probably the least I've enjoyed watching any MCU project. It picks up a little after that, and I kinda do dig Namor's whole deal but as a complete package I really, really don't like it. Extenuating circumstances probably play a part, as does its status as a very disappointing sequel to one of the better/best that the MCU has to offer.
NWH I'm in two minds of. I'll always fondly remember the theater experience the first time I saw it, but each rewatch (3 in total) has yielded diminishing returns. Once the surprise factor is gone, you aren't left with much. A contrived plot, an unfortunate waste of characters and dynamics the previous two movies built up, emotional beats that I don't think hit as hard as they should, and an overall dullness and ugliness that transcends the standard for the MCU.
This movie was crazy good bc why do I care more about them going into an Avengers movie over Cap, Thor and…. Idek lol
Looking at my earlier posts like
I was hating hard when Steven dropped out but boy how wrong I was. Pullman is awesome

This movie lowkey quelled a bit of my doubts for Doomsday. This film proved that, if well written, you can pull off a team-up film with all relatively new characters and have the audience care about them by the end of it.
So what Thunderbolts* did for these characters by the end of this film, might happen for some of the newer members by the end of Doomsday, IF it’s written well enough

post-Endgame, left off what I haven't seen.
Ehh 3 placements tell me our taste don’t align at all. Tbh one particular placement makes this look like bait.

These ppl aren't writing the new avengers ones tho right??

Unfortunately I don’t think creatives involved in this are anywhere near Doomsday

Kind of wish the Russo brothers weren’t coming back

But unfortunately no

its weird cos they got a perfect record for mcu films, but after they left, only to comeback with downey as doom, just seems abit of a desperate play by feige
But unfortunately no
Listening rn
Praying they get them to supervise/advise like gunn did for a second as a result of all this good praise they getting rn

No BUT it is written by one of the guys who wrote Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War, and Endgame

Also hated their recent stuff outside of marvel so kind of worries me.
If you look at their run of films since Endgame like this, it makes more sense:
Combine this with the fact that people have been pretty negative about superhero films in general during the entire 2020s and it makes sense that Thunderbolts* is being seen as a massive return to form
Don't froget that Marvels depends on two MCU shows that were mid lol.
Quantumania set up a Kang related to another MCU show, and he is now gone as a villian.
So all of these movies exist as endgame flailing tailends that just reset everything. Now we ramp up the next villian from Thunderbolts to F4 to Avenger's Doomsday.

WandaVision mid?
I personally love Ms. Marvel but I can see why others don’t
Also they didn’t reference Secret Invasion at all lmao and that s*** was doo doo from a butt

Wandavision passes. However, the lady who appears in the Marvel's was nobody really special
I think I’m just done with Marvel. It took me longer than other people but this movie was really good until the abrupt ass ending that had no real climax. They could have done so much more with Sentry but they threw all that away to make sure we found out that they were the New Avengers.
Marvel’s biggest issue now is that every movie has to connect to another movie. It worked leading up to Infinity War but it is not working now. It just ruined what was a very good move till the weird ending.
“marvel’s biggest issue now is that every movie has to connect to another movie”
its been like this since the cinematic universe began. because that’s what a cinematic universe is, a connecting of worlds and stories. it can’t be an issue if thats the foundation and why you’re here in the first place

ik downey is a great actor but they should've given someone else the chance to be doom because this comes off as casting a hero as a villain. im still on board but its cautious rn
Scorsese indoctrinated the entire internet film population with his little grudge & he probably barely uses the internet lol
yeah bro everyone just listened to an old man and started hating their favorite franchize, totally how it always works. jus hating on the goat for no reason

post-Endgame, left off what I haven't seen.
im so happy i only saw seven things out of this entire list
Love Florence Pugh for forcing Marvel to let her jump off the second tallest building in the world despite that s*** having absolutely no relevance to the plot lmao

that s*** looked great though, glad she did

When it opened with that I was sure the movie was starting in media res, couldn’t believe it had absolutely nothing to do with anything
