They said MCU was back with Guardians 3 but now it’s suddenly back with this movie? MFs just be blinding hating MCU and choosy when they wanna like MCU again. MCU has a lot of great shows and films since EndGame. For some reason, it’s a hard concept to comprehend that you can enjoy indie movies and blockbusters

Yeah just posting stuff I see from popular accounts I follow. I agree with this leaker.
But the quality of most of their movies has dropped to be fair. And a lot of the shows are ass imo. I really only watch daredevil now.
Man i shed a tear
Haven’t heard an applause like that in an avengers movie in a minute
I loved this film. It honestly spoke to me in a way that no other comic book film has spoken to me before. This came out and hit at the right time I suppose.
Bringing together these characters on paper had a low chance of working, but by god Jake Schrier and the writers were able to make all of these characters work from projects that for the most part are just fine. This is a story about dealing with your inner demons and finding companionship amongst people who really care for you. Using these characters for that story worked wonders.
The action set pieces are really good and visuals are actually very well done. Not under cooked like some of the more recent entries. The script is much better than the last two MCU films and the performances across the board are really good. Florence Pugh and Lewis Pullman in particular shine in their roles.
This more than anything has me excited to see where the MCU goes from here. It finally feels like we are headed somewhere leading into Avengers: Doomsday.
4.5/5 (This is a weighted MCU grade. Sorry that I have a soft spot for capeshit.)

Alright FINE I’ll go see it tomorrow
Like when Yelena was talking about having a mundane ass life (for her standard obv lmao) and having nobody to go home to. Trying to forget the darkness of your past and just pushing it back via alcohol (or weed in my case). That s*** really hit me man.
I feel like half this movie was cut, and it was to its detriment. Like it was good, and I enjoyed it, but it felt like whole chunks were missing. Important chunks for pacing.
somehow the least hyped show/film always gets better reviews. same s*** happened with Andor s1

I get what people mean when they say the MCU is back. Yeah, Guardians 3 was good but it didn’t get me excited for the future of the MCU or any of the upcoming films. But after Thunderbolts I’m bought back in. Hype for F4 is up. Anticipation for Doomsday went from rock bottom to intrigued. The MCU is back baby.
Really solid flick. Did the impossible which was actually making me invested in the MCU for the first time since like Loki S1 finale. Did not expect that from something I assumed would be more of a side project (which it did seem like until the final five minutes + credits). Decent story, lots of laughs, actual human emotions.
Goes firmly into B tier for 2025. It's getting a little crowded so Mickey 17 might have to drop down to C before the summer's over
S -
A - Sinners,
B - Warfare, Black Bag, Thunderbolts*, Companion, One of Them Days, Mickey 17
C -
D - Captain America: BNW

I think I’m just done with Marvel. It took me longer than other people but this movie was really good until the abrupt ass ending that had no real climax. They could have done so much more with Sentry but they threw all that away to make sure we found out that they were the New Avengers.
Marvel’s biggest issue now is that every movie has to connect to another movie. It worked leading up to Infinity War but it is not working now. It just ruined what was a very good move till the weird ending.
Bucky and Sams meeting about the avengers not going well must have something to do with Sentry

Two of these suck unfortunately.

It’s because there are three caveats to explain why these movies were positively reviewed, and none of them have anything to do with Marvel itself:
Thunderbolts* is their first film in a LONG time that’s just good on its own merits, introducing new characters or a new team that the audience falls in love with, and not relying on excessive nostalgia baiting to get people excited.
Their last film of this ilk was probably honestly Black Panther. Shang-Chi would be the next choice but it got overlooked because of the pandemic
If you look at their run of films since Endgame like this, it makes more sense:
Combine this with the fact that people have been pretty negative about superhero films in general during the entire 2020s and it makes sense that Thunderbolts* is being seen as a massive return to form

post-Endgame, left off what I haven't seen.
Those bottom 2 picks are interesting
NWH or BP2 both have their flaws but you really think they are the absolute worst post- Endgame entries ?

Quantumania over Wakanda Forever??????

Scorsese indoctrinated the entire internet film population with his little grudge & he probably barely uses the internet lol
