My thoughts are that he looks alright. He’s a technically gifted no.9 who hopefully help to link play and bring the best out of Fernandes/Rashford etc. to score more.

From what I hear how he plays — he sounds kind of like a Dutch no.9 Martial, just taller with much better fitness and probably less clinical edge in front of goal.

£34m is a pretty acceptable deal when you consider the fees guys like Minteh, Gray et. al are transferring at lower down the league

I also like that he and Hojlund are very different type of no.9s. There’s a big risk that neither have ever had a big goalscoring season, and both are still very young, but they could be good foil for each other depending on the gameplan.
