joelinton is an absolute unit out there too. him and bruno g outmuscled our whole midfield.
This team is doomed man. Really hope new CEO/DOF are ruthless and ship all the deadwood out (including ETH if it doesn’t get any better) there is no reason why players like McTominay are still at this club
scholesy laying into united/eth/rashford. spot on. no clue how rashford didn't go off at halftime, he was pathetic out there.
ETH decision.
our playing out from the back was dismal too. as if it was our first game ever playing out from the back, couldn't string together two passes.
Pep has psyoped all the mediocre teams/coaches (like us/eth) into thinking this inverted full back s*** is for everybody.
ETH you got moterhfcuking AWB and dalot as your full backs and flappy bird as your keeper. zero chance we can execute this like know your players.
well done pep, chess.
Eth hasn’t won a big game all season
It will be slaughter when we play the Scouse but I’m told 7-0 was a freak result
Real quote. Add this to the wall of shame with the we’re not trying to play Ajax football one.
And the it’s all about results quote.
Remember when Shaw used to run with the ball. Wasted at CB / inverted pep fb crap we’re trying to pull.
Awb back post strikes again, but he’s our best defender because of his spider man tackles 💩
TH has lost it lol
He’s a charlatan. We thought we were signing the next big thing from Ajax but each passing day seems to make it clear he was a passer-by there.
A year and a half in and the only real identity this team has is disappearing in big away matches and blowing European games. Think it was right to wait and hope this season he turned it around but it's become an inevitability. And the home form and flat track bullying haven't even been good

Nah he was special at Ajax. Just doesn’t help that he got full control over transfers here while someone else did that for him at Ajax, and his man management style maybe works w youngsters at Ajax but not w established stars.

Wonder how long he’s gonna last
I think the dialogue on Hag long ran its course in this thread, and I think we’re all relatively on the same note now.
But the one thing that piqued me early in his time here and convinced me he wasn’t really that about Ajax lifestyle was his use of certain players.
For an alleged Cruijffian possession football manager to utilise Scott McTominay to the extent he has just makes zero sense. Here is a player so fundamentally alien to possession football and he continues to use him week in week out. Pep Guardiola would’ve genuinely seen two training sessions of him and sent him to Everton.
It’s like if Sean Dyche wanted to play target man football with his starting striker and continued to pick Lorenzo Insigne up there — means no sense is jus veertual

Ridiculous statement. Passer-by???

Again selling McTominay is not his responsibility.
Ten Hag wanted him out, the club did not manage to sell him.
