sacking ETH on his own is pointless, that can't be the only thing to change ..we are literally going round in circles its the same cycle every time
All this time wasted typing away when the reality is we canāt even sack him now if the club wanted to.
Iām not changing the club. Iām just engaging the flawed arguments of some fans
Not even hyped for any new manager coming in, Zidane, Zerbi, Ancolotti i don't even care, we already know the outcome 1-2 years later
and tbh, who in their right mind would take this job right now
we are farrrrr from the elite club we once knew, we are so far off everything its actually alarming
The man utd cycle

I know, but the arguing is fruitless. Whether Ten Hag deserves to be here or not is a conversation that canāt even realistically happen until January, but more than likely, at the end of the season.
When the contract extension reports came out, it was also reported that the decision to stick by him is mostly a financial one. Itās the less expensive alternative to sacking him, giving him a payout, and then hiring a new manager⦠and given the money problems at the club, that seems likely.

To me it isnāt about what the board decide.
They can keep him or sack him if they want to.
Itās about trying to remain realistic and understand football from a deeper level than just results on a scoresheet and wanting your club to be number 1 against all odds

Zidane would never come here but I think heās the only candidate who could possibly whip this current lot into shape and the only one able to bypass or go over a lot of the other problems. Imo culture of the club has cultivated this idea in some players that theyāre bigger than the manager, therefore more important. Even someone like Ancelotti with a storied career would struggle against that.
Most would have grown up idolizing/respecting Zidane for what he did as a player and wouldnāt want to disappoint⦠plus⦠heās Zidane. Guy is intimidating as s***.
Ten Hag is worth sacking. Full stop.
There are deep lying problems at the club no doubt. But a fixed roof doesnāt suddenly mean Rashford, Fernandes etc are worth sticking around.
A proper manager would be able to make a positive difference.

yeah but i feel like we thought the same about Mourinho and Van Gall...serial winners that guarantee you trophies
players will turn on any manager, especially this lot because even they know the clubs a joke and they are just one move away from reviving their career
Yes Martinez and Shaw are sorely missing.
A losing streak broke the camelās back and now the piss poor mentality of some players who have seen managers come in and go out is to solidarily hand it to the manager
Diamonds are made under pressure and clearly a lot of players are mentally checked out. What they need is a disciplined approach while shouldering the heat. Look at the ending of Liverpool last season when they made it out of the dark tunnel with a winning streak. All because they didnāt give up in eachother or the manager.
A disciplined approach is something ETH has never done. They can embarrass the club at record breaking levels and play days later no matter what.
Itās a part of why he needs to go.

LVG and Mourinho are different cases tho, and I also used Ancelotti as an example too. Incredible coaching pedigrees, that ultimately donāt mean anything to these players.
Zidane would be a former player who these lot are actually familiar with, one of the greatest of all-time, and there would already be respect/idolization before he was even hired.
But like I said, itāll never happen anyway.
Yeah but ETH chose to keep these players. He had a full year to assess them, then went out and got Onana Hojlund Mount Amrabat. If the players fit rn are the problem, he sure as s*** didnāt think so 4 months ago when he decried heās super happy with his squad depth.
They were going to give Maguire 6m to leave the club, let's not act like he was kept for any other reason than other clubs not wanting to pay his wages and a lack of depth.
Sack everyone and reset the club lmao
Literally no source

Heās the source.
The United Stand says heās wrong tho

Anyone online can make an account like that and tweet stuff, it could be true but just as likely to not be true.
He wanted get rid of McTominay and Maguire. Couldnāt do it because of a failed transfer fee for McTominay and because Maguire didnāt agree on a deal last-minute claiming West Ham hadnāt notified him when they actually did agree a fee with United.
He wanted Rashford under 200k the board rejected that idea.
He wanted Antony from the beginning of the transfer season (40m) and got him for double at the very end of the window, poor negotiations are not his fault and responsibility.
He wanted De Jong, Kane, Kim Min Jae, Todibo & Amrabat and none of them came bar one on a loan last-minute due to incompetence from the board.
De Jong was replaced for an aging Casemiro, not his pick.
He got Reguillon to cover for Shaw and Malacia injuries, he was only allowed a loan player by the board.
What in any of this has gone his way?
Again warriors are BUILT, not bought. Good players go to ruin if half the team is still playing the same old way. You HAVE to go through the ring of fire to build the type of warrior mindset and togetherness that United scream out for rn.
Not another sacking and more entitlement and power to weak mentalitied players
Cleared.
Wouldn't sack Ten Hag yet. Mans just needs to sort himself out, he's in one of those Mourinho-esque self-destructive cycles. He is far far better than this and we can play far far better than this. Needs to get everyone back bought in, and needs to make a concerted effort towards the footballing principles he executed with Ajax.
And the club needs to sort itself out, too much instability and question marks. Ratcliffe needs to be wrapped up, Paul Mitchell etc. asap.

The players complain he's training too hard....
He disciplined Ronaldo and Sancho. Don't think you know what discipline means....
Them not showing it on the pitch and their lack of effort is not on Ten Hag's "discipline". These are the same players that threw Van Gaal, Mourinho, Ole and Rangnick under the bus. They don't care about discipline and putting in effort when things go wrong.

The 8 mile run early last season too.

He doesnāt discipline s***. They lost 7-0 and all played again days later.

Replace which players for who?
Be more specific because complaining from the bylines without a solution is the lasiest critique i can endure.
Think as a coach. WHO would YOU replace for WHOM after that Liverpool defeat?
