Haven’t seen the post game stuff but once the manager starts rolling out defeatist stuff like ā€œWe will NEVER play like Ajaxā€ it gets very concerning

that's what I was saying. can't believe he said that.

By the grace of allah I am not asking mr Haggy to win the treble with Lindelof we are asking him to coach players (the thing he was signed to do) to a respectable level and actually play football where we aren’t at a -5 goal difference in the Premier League

When Brighton have 70% possession of a football is it because Pascal Gross, Solly March, and Jason Steele were trained in the arts of Crujiffian football before puberty?

When Eddie Howe has his second string team winning 3-0 at Old Trafford, is it because Matt Targett and Matt Ritchie understand how to invert the pyramid?

The structure of the club is a mitigating factor. BUT it doesn’t absolve anywhere near the blame you think it does. The manager simply HAS to perform to a far higher standard than he is.

This is probably the last post I’ll respond to you on. You will come to your senses at some point, I think.

I want us to try and play "like Ajax" in that it's positive proactive football

I don't think sacking Ten Hag will get us any closer to that or to winning a big trophy, but things have to change drastically at every level

It’s been really obvious for a long time but no one wanted to see it.

You don’t lose the way we did and as often as we did & think everything is fine.

We were getting results at home but it was diabolical away. People took the home results as a given and thought the away results would come naturally.

Think he’s s*** the bed beyond belief. 400m in 2 seasons, Ajax + Dutch boys galore (and they all f***ing stink the place out). Good riddance

You guys don’t understand the reality of this. Only looking for short term success will get you back to square one with these players.

Ten Hag is not why these players show no togetherness. Plus injuries are a major reason why its not working atm. You’ve gotta get through this rough patch and i promise you it will turn around.

So a few injuries means the squad has no cohesion, effort or style of play and we’re getting dusted every game

    Sounds positive

Yes Martinez and Shaw are sorely missing.

A losing streak broke the camel’s back and now the piss poor mentality of some players who have seen managers come in and go out is to solidarily hand it to the manager

Diamonds are made under pressure and clearly a lot of players are mentally checked out. What they need is a disciplined approach while shouldering the heat. Look at the ending of Liverpool last season when they made it out of the dark tunnel with a winning streak. All because they didn’t give up in eachother or the manager.

Yeah but ETH chose to keep these players. He had a full year to assess them, then went out and got Onana Hojlund Mount Amrabat. If the players fit rn are the problem, he sure as s*** didn’t think so 4 months ago when he decried he’s super happy with his squad depth.

No, you just need to bring the right players in and change the mentality of the players you have. Erik doesn’t have the ability to just get rid of the people who don’t fight and bring in unlimited new ones. Especially not with the current scouting department and financial problems.

None of the older players are just gonna rollover and become a warrior of a player overnight especially with the toxic state of the club rn. They need to show to eachother but more importantly to themselves that when the going gets tough, they will no longer resort to giving up or moaning about or letting their heads hang low.

These changes take time. Only through tough times can you build the type of character you wish Erik could’ve instilled in training or by buying other players.

Why do you think he couldn’t get rid of players? We had offers for many players that stayed. The same way that we overpaid for players we signed, we could have chosen to get underpaid for players we wanted to sell.

If ETH is in charge of who we signed (99% certain he is considering evidence of their connection to Ajax or Holland), and he okayed us overpaying, same logic should apply to him not actually wanting these players out.

He wanted impossible transfers. De Jong Kane etc. But did not sort out the captaincy or who his real warriors are at the club.

He wanted get rid of McTominay and Maguire. Couldn’t do it because of a failed transfer fee for McTominay and because Maguire didn’t agree on a deal last-minute claiming West Ham hadn’t notified him when they actually did agree a fee with United.

He wanted Rashford under 200k the board rejected that idea.

He wanted Antony from the beginning of the transfer season (40m) and got him for double at the very end of the window, poor negotiations are not his fault and responsibility.

He wanted De Jong, Kane, Kim Min Jae, Todibo & Amrabat and none of them came bar one on a loan last-minute due to incompetence from the board.

De Jong was replaced for an aging Casemiro, not his pick.

He got Reguillon to cover for Shaw and Malacia injuries, he was only allowed a loan player by the board.

What in any of this has gone his way?

Again warriors are BUILT, not bought. Good players go to ruin if half the team is still playing the same old way. You HAVE to go through the ring of fire to build the type of warrior mindset and togetherness that United scream out for rn.

Not another sacking and more entitlement and power to weak mentalitied players
