Just looked through the track listing it says Yachty had prod credits on two of the songs.
And just to be clear I’m not hating on Boat. I’m a day one fan of his but this album wasn’t really all that in my opinion.
Thats fair, I mean im not saying Lil Yachty is some sort of musical genius for it or even that you have to like it
Im just saying I dont think it should disqualify him from talking about hip hop especially when he's put out some good rap songs this year

Also I love Yatchy and think he's incredibly talented
I thought that album was gonna be Strike, and Poland not extremely experimental. S*** was ass but a good soundboard of things to come
Lets Start here isn't even my fav Yachty sound for sure
But I would much rather a artist put out a focused album with some sort of semblance of a concept vs something like Pink Tape, even if it turns out bad

Glock in my purse still my anthem for when I'm outsideYatchy had moments and showed me he could really ep an album outside of writing for himself and other artists. He's eclectic and I think genre benders are always the ones to win, so once he combines One Night, Poland, The Secret Recipe, and Let's Start Here I think he could jump most of his peers in popularity

thats why im not mad at Yachty bc I forced myself to get some hype going for Pink Tape and it ended up suffering from the same issues as Uzi's past albums
On the other hand it will be exciting to see where Yachty takes his next album...
