Especially when artists attempt to put albums under different creative directions. I tend to find more diamonds among the rough when I’m going through an artist with large discogs

I think more often than not is more labor involved with crafting a song from scratch to rapping over other beats, just off the inspiration aspect

But people still interpolate and sample past works. Sometimes waynes mixtape songs were original songs just rerecorded over another beat example Out West.

That's what I mean by it just depends. Because wayne did have original songs in that sense, but he also had a lot of songs where it's just straight rapping even using similar schemes and flows as the original
