Ur right, that doesnt change the fact there are some people who would still help their mother if in the same situation

sure, but LNX did try to help her. that’s what people are ignoring itt. he did try to help, and she refused his help. you can’t help an addict if they don’t want to be helped.

We're judging because Lil Nas X is rich and while we're coming to understand the circumstances that OP rudely left out, the fact that a millionaires mother is out on the street is still wild as f*** to the rest of us posting here. So we're having difficulty processing it.

Ain't no one was judging him solely cuz his mom was homeless.

F*** that if anyone in your family does you dirty dont let these dumbasses convince you youre always obligated to help no matter what

I don't think you should step in every moment but I do feel like there's extreme cases one should intervene in if it doesn't affect them srsly

    Like homelessness

it’s important to remember that celebrities are people too

LNX only JUST got famous a couple years ago

your struggles don’t magically disappear with fame. they often get worse because of fame tbh.

    blonded

The difference that not every single person is the same?

    Woah, deep...

True but it just shows that it's possible and a choice

It's not some otherworldly phenomenon to help a dysfunctional family member.

I don't think anyone is arguing that it isn't possible to do this.

People are arguing should vs ought

Nah I understand fam. S*** isn't always black and white.

Like I'd like to say that I'd never let my immediate family be homeless but I can't know that for sure. Especially if they slighted me for something inherent to my character like my sexual orientation.

It's just unfortunate that this is happening, even to someone who has a lot of means to the point where you think it could change something but it won't.

Fr unless she‘s a serial killer or anything like that she has NO business being on the street

And still If you have a bad relationship with your mum you can still find her a home without seeing her or have anything to do with her. There are many possibilities when you‘re rich
