Oh yeah fasho he wouldn’t had been wrong for that. There’s really no right or wrong to how you react to family I hate that I came in with that energy cause it’s ignorant. I just believe that nobody is perfect, some of our people were dealt bad hands and didn’t know how to properly deal with their own traumas. I know it’s not up to us to be their saviors but man it’s sad when your fam is down bad. It’s really a tough one like you said.

First thing I‘m gonna do is not letting her sleep on street. Can‘t let my mom die on the street - being alive is more worth than anything. And yeah I’d probably get her ass back to rehab or find any other ways of help.

i've had two people in my family, including my mom, stay with us to help them handle their addictions. (my mom had a bad d*** habit, the other had a serious gambling issue).

both of them abused me financially and emotionally, lied about overcoming their issues, and ran away (on more than one occasion) choosing to be homeless to keep a hold on their addictions. in my mom's case, she's relapsed at least 5 times and has been to a halfway house 3 times.

sometimes you truly cannot help people, and letting them go the only thing you can do. personally, i'm never letting somebody else compromise my livelihood ever again, parent or not.

Financial problems and letting them sleep in your house are big problems that will effect someone a lot.

I just think the difference is that Lil Nas X as a multi millionaire has the possibility to help his mum without seeing her + having any financial problems. But yeah we don‘t know what he‘ll do in the future or has done in the past so there‘s no reason to discuss this.
