And holy s*** is this movie incredible, especially for its time.

I respect that.

Have you seen Shoplifter? Never seen Mabarosi but if you want a really great humanist film, that’s one to check out.

Really liked this, but the way it was structured took me out of it sometimes. Not on the level of Oldboy but still very entertaining. Will have to rewatch this sometime in the future, the story wasn't too complicated but i still felt like some things went over my head

nah it’s definitely a thriller but it’s comedic timing and chops are on point. some of the dialogue and reactions are just perfect

I still gotta see a lot more from him but this, The Fly and eXistenZ are my favs of his so far

Same, I've only seen The Brood, Dead Ringers and Videodrome before this one and they were all very good to great. The Fly is next up for me
