Finally got around to seeing Fritz Lang’s M (1931) after only being able to find the remake.

This a comedy? been meaning to watching this for over 15 years now just never got around to it loll

8/10
Really liked this, but the way it was structured took me out of it sometimes. Not on the level of Oldboy but still very entertaining. Will have to rewatch this sometime in the future, the story wasn't too complicated but i still felt like some things went over my head

nah it’s definitely a thriller but it’s comedic timing and chops are on point. some of the dialogue and reactions are just perfect
The rape scene in irreversible
I watched that s*** high as hell next to my ex who just happened to fall sleep before then. That s*** was intense lol
4/10
Kind of a boring film... don't know how it got so much critical acclaim.. felt like the plot was a bit cheesy... waste of my time tbh

After watching They Live yesterday I didn't expect the brutality of the dumpster fight to be bested the next day! I really liked this one, Viggo Mortensen is masterful as the icy driver with mysterious motivations and Cronenbergs direction is that of an older master who has something to say, through his technique of putting violence on display, and all the implications that accompany

Same, I've only seen The Brood, Dead Ringers and Videodrome before this one and they were all very good to great. The Fly is next up for me
