French Cancan serious heat

out of the 10 or so renoirs this might be the most fire one i've seen although the lower depths and la nuit du carrefour are up there too. both in dire need of restorations. the latter is so eerie and dark

his older films dwelled more in natural setting and realism but this with its deeply saturated colors and technicolor film stock really sets it apart as true eye candy.
love this almost theatrical form French Cancan has. need to check out the Golden Coach and Elena and Her Men later

Also back on Rohmer finished the 4 Seasons Tale series that was so fun. A Summer's Tale is really good
