Is this how it ends? A lawsuit and the beef just peters out with a whimper?

Nah this will be going on for awhile. It’s gotten so much press it would be unwise to not keep the spectacle going for as long a spossible

Eminem show was easily the peak of his powers. Still had some amusing joke songs but was able to pivot past the "shock jock edgelord" gimmick and was prolly the closest thing to an eminem album for general rap audience/not just his rabid fanbase. Era also had renegade and 8 mile soundtrack aka his best material. A shame d**** fried him cuz a stable career with material like this he coulda had Jay z like longevity

Accurate post. At the time it felt like he was never gonna stop being f***ing incredible

I've lost all respect, sorry. This is absolutely rigged for money...Or ratings in not sure which. I won't be silent. Just saw it live, sorry.

Scorpion highlights are really high and iconic so I'll take it over CLB and FATD easily

I think I agree with this. FATD has more standouts than CLB imo but Scorpion highs are pretty high for sure

Had me convinced he was some artsy dude from some of those soul melting moments on TC.

the Crew Love/Take Care/Marvins Room/Buried Alive stretch is in a whole other ballpark than the rest of his discography imo

I know you prefer singing drake on tc, and I like r&b Drake too but the way his rapping improved later on is just whewwww

Especially when he had loosies and songs on the 8 Mile soundtrack better than some of the songs on The Eminem Show

    That was the scariest part

DAMN is better, but I don't think MMBS is

I don't really compare KOD to any of those albums of I'm being honest, it's closer to TPAB to me but I look at KOD & 4YEO as 2 sides of the same coin. I'm really only comparing the albums to the other album within Dot & Cole's discog, not head to head. In this particular case I'm saying KOD > MMBS for my personal opinion

For me MMBS has: United in Grief, N95, Rich Spirit, Silent Hill, Savior & the interlude, Mr. Morale, and Mirror as the upper tier of the album but the lows in this album kill it as a whole. Has amazing peaks though

Good s***, I find 4yeo to be absolute dogwater, clearly u hold kod to heart, To me its a fine record, just like Cole is a fine rapper, nothing much to it, good talk MMTBS is more in the realm of donda and 4:44 and better than both

    I agree with this post

As much as Snoop Dogg is an icon and his debut is a huge influential classic, he lowkey is a hack that never would have made such a classic album without Dre

He's the most overrated rapper of all time because big sean couldn't live up to that title, he's the Taylor swift of rapper, successful mediocrity, the j-lo of rapper, long-lasting mid , a bozo!

I didn't, until he apologized. I thought KOD & 4YEO were terrible and I stopped listening to Cole until that song with him, Travis, and Thug

I seen this clip interviewing with KD from years ago and it all clicked on the context of his career for me

You're entering into the arena that's my problem with Kendrick, relating Mr. Morgan to 4:44

Edit: of course LUST is better than a J. Cole song. To quote my Grandma, "it's the mixing of the blood"
