200-250k
Honestly never mind good comparison for GNX
200k surprise release from mainstream hip hop artist in streaming era with no physicals
lets see who does more
Don’t wanna hear excuses that’s the proper comparison

^ Dude is trying to come up with an agenda already before the numbers even come out lol

I’m trying to cover all bases before the numbers come in under Chromakopia tbh

Even if it does under Chromkopia (it prolly won’t) at least u could say this is streaming only and would’ve sold more if it had physicals
I’m thinking close to 400k. About an 100k increase to Mr. Morale (Numbers will be higher if he drops a deluxe 2nd album album attached to this)

Acting like Honestly, Nevermind isn't a DANCE album and comparing that to Kendrick's most accessible album ever lmao.
Will the album dropping during the afternoon have any effect on sales?
Misses out on some first day tracking hours
GNX will do 350-400K.
The label just found out about the album this morning, so it most likely won’t have any physical sales first week.
Would’ve done 500K+ with physicals in my opinion

400k streaming units on a 12 track album would be quite insane
i don't think anyones ever done 300k on an album this small before. I think 350k, this is gonna be the project that shifts the narrative towards Kendrick being the new #1 of rap

Yup never agree’d with you. But this definitely marks him as top #1 now.
For reference, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers (19 songs) debuted with 343M US streams, while DAMN. (14 songs) debuted with 341M US streams.

400M US streams is roughly about 290k SEA units. To pull 400k+ units, he'd need to amass well over 500M US streams for the first time ever. I can see it happening but the album would need to have insane stability on streaming to reach those numbers.

yeah then drake's gonna come with a 30 track album 6 months later and take the #1 back
at least that's my fantasy of how things are gonna go

So, if this album does like 400k, that makes him the #1 guy in rap when Drake has done 400k+ 3 times this decade alone and reached those numbers twice with the span of a year? How does that work?
