All you're doing is using Drake's popularity to discredit how much of the people who support him are actually stans and you're only doing that because you have a narrow-minded idea of what being a stan constitutes.
That’s crazy that you said I’m using his popularity to discredit him lmao like think about what you just said.
I have a really hard time believing that Travis sold 250k bundles because his fans wanted him to sell as much as possible tho
I think the vast majority of the bundle sales were people that literally just thought the merch was cool, nothing else
The 111k digital sales though. There's really no reason for a young hip-hop fan to buy an album on iTunes unless they just want to boost sales of the artist they're supporting.
Kendrick has a similar merch/physical buying fanbase and only sold 35k digital albums

Yeah Travis stans definitely want him to sell as much as possible. If you just look at his Reddit community you’ll see it, they’re rabid

Digital albums come with the merch, nothing more, nothing less
Artist websites hide the merch that doesn't have the digital or vinyl attached on different pages and their fans buy what right in front on them on the main page, especially when it's only an extra $5

Could be wrong but I thought they stopped allowing digital albums to be bundled with merch sales? @dedication is the expert on the rules

Digital downloads & merch combos do not count anymore on Billboard.

they did

Yes, they stopped that.
All digital sales were independent and not tied to any merch items.
Like that’s what I’m saying.
Travis did 111K in independent digital sales ALONE.
CLB only did 46K in pure sales.
It’s clearly two completely different types of fanbases

My bad
I guess the Ragers ran that s*** up then so their boy wouldn't flop

This isn’t how bundles work anymore. There are only fan-packs (physical merch item + physical copy of the album which must also be listed separately, only counts when shipped, limit of 2 per album release) and box-sets (just any combination of merch + physical copy of the album, only counts when shipped, and must be contained in a literal box)

Yeah I got it
lol at literal box

Yeah theyre also saying 85% of that 111k was on the First Edition digital album which was only released in the last 24h of the tracking week lmao
there is 0 chance that isn't heavily manipulated
13k CDs sold in the whole month prior
94k digital albums sold in 24hours 5 days after the album dropped
nothing to see here lads, move along
Yeah I got it
lol at literal box
S*** is so dumb 😭 they said nah you can’t bundle anymore unless you just throw that s*** in a box and then it’s cool
They bought digital albums but couldn't keep streaming?
That’s real support, any artist would prefer a true sale than a sale equivalent through streaming

Yeah I’m sure they just lied about it and Billboard did absolutely nothing to verify any of the sales

Digital sales been fraudulent this decade
I guess that's real support lol

Honestly CLB’s fw numbers are so in line with what his solo albums usually do + his staunch move from prioritizing physicals to streaming that I think the people who would have bought physicals in the past just moved to steaming with him
Cause “Drake = streaming” so now it’s just an expectation

Even at a discount, that’s $5 per for the artist with each sale.
With a stream equivalent sale, they’re making literal pennies
Yeah I’m sure they just lied about it and Billboard did absolutely nothing to verify any of the sales
So you genuinely believe 110k digital albums were sold in 24 hours 5 days after the album dropped? bruh
I'd believe it if he sold 100k+ pure CDs

I agree, and my point is that he dominates streaming so much now that he really wouldn’t benefit from physicals and fan-packs and extra s*** like that

Idk if anyone has said that he'd sell more pure than Travis does. I don't think he could inspire his fanbase to do all that just to run up the numbers (hard to do when you're already on top). But I do think he could still do 150k-200k pure from digital, bundles, and physicals

I believe that the numbers are the numbers and whatever Billboard verified and reported is what actually sold.
If you’re gonna question these numbers then we should question every #1 every single week of the chart
