You cant fully explore the potential of a track in under 2 minutes. Kanye’s best songs tend to be the longer ones where he gets every last drop of potential out of it

Only two songs I like, everything else is bad that comes off either boring, forced or messy.
This & Ye have been terrible & TLOP mediocre, while KSG is amazing (my 4th or 5th Fav Kanye project overall) but a collab.
I always thought Kanye would go an even more Gospel route later in his career & I'm for it, but not like this. He's done Gospel in instrumentation, lyrics & feeling way better on all of his other albums where the Gospel influence & motif is present. Ultralight Beam alone is better than this whole album, & it still fits all the guidelines & rules he put on himself for JIK.
I'm disappointed, but that's okay. For me, Kanye can just be in his winding down or twilight years like how every other artist no matter how great goes through.
Might get a good song here & there, but overall it's done, for me at least right now it seems.
2004 to 2013 of banger after banger no miss as a project is still a very f***ing crazy run that not many in any genre can claim.
I'm still gonna peep whatever the future of him will put, but I'm no longer in it like that.

It got mostly 8s out 10 & 3 in a half stars out of 5s from all the main sites.
That is pretty good lol. The album is a 5 to a 6 for me.
