And that’s how I took it but isn’t the theory of the ending saying “Arthur was never the real joker, all along it was this random inmate who kills him”….lmao or am I misunderstanding yall?
a bit of column A and B . He is taking responsibility for his actions but he is saying stop romanticizing him stop acting like its a song and dance show.

No no, the theory is that the inmate who kills Arthur ends up becoming the criminal mastermind Joker from the comics and the one that eventually goes on to become a villain of Batman. Basically, Arthur Fleck was just the inspiration for the eventual “real” Joker. But Fleck was still the Joker for these first two movies
bro they been milking the corpse of Heath Ledger since be for real
But peep my example. How is that anymore disrespectful than what Kendrick does with Pac? Or any other music artist who samples or does homages to artist who passed away
I think he was just saying he’s done with the joker character. He’s done striving for that, keeping up the chaos, riling people up. He accepted the charges and was done being joker
But then his damage was already done, and he was killed by someone directly inspired by him
I think that’s what the ending was doing moreso than it being THE REAL joker twist or a heath ledger twist?
just that it’s just some random guy who was radicalised and inspired by Arthur even after Arthur dropped the act
See I like that break down cus that’s what makes the most sense to me tbh and what also had me so confused on why people hated the ending so much. Would everyone be ok with the ending if it didn’t have the Heath nod or whatever?

Okay and a lot of peoples issues is the real joker we all know wasn’t a copy cat inspired by another nigga

Yes, that’s never been a part of the ethos of the character

lol I have said some of the Pac stuff Kendrick takes too far though
He is not Pac
he is much more commercialized than Pac
Pac was calling the industry the f*** out
he was a fake gangster but he was not fake about his distaste of the industry
he wasnt like "watch the party die see you at the super bowl soon hope you enjoyed the amazon sponsored pop out "
like that has been my major gripe with kendrick and his fans jump me for it

well yeah but this was a problem with The Batman the Riddler too

Okay that’s fair I didn’t know that. I can’t be mad at that statement then since you keeping it equal across all mediums
2Pac would call Kendrick Lamar out
that is part of what I was getting to with his fanbase too as someone who has read 2Pacs life etc
yes he was imperfect but 2Pac would call parts of Kendrick and his fanbase the f*** out
Many of the Kendrick fans would not respect a true MODERN DAY 2PAC
Okay that’s fair I didn’t know that. I can’t be mad at that statement then since you keeping it equal across all mediums
I am a very consistent human on here it bothers many
well yeah but this was a problem with The Batman the Riddler too
What’s the theory there? They think the riddler in The Batman is just inspiring a more realer Riddler?
is imitation the sincerest form of flattery
is life imitating art?
Is the media to blame and truly the most destructive piece of fiction yes I said fiction including the news
What’s the theory there? They think the riddler in The Batman is just inspiring a more realer Riddler?
no because of streamers and imitators
Man I wanna love this movie so bad just off JP performance alone. I’m mad Todd didn’t give him a better script smh.
Let the first half be Joker running around causing havoc, with a cult-like following, naturally singing and dancing while doing it on some unhinged s*** rather than a musical.
Second half have him get arrested and doing the whole trial thing. Keep his unhinged moments with the accents and all that cus that was great.
Remove Harley Quinn her character was not needed and then remove the random music bits because all that did was kill the momentum anytime the movie faded to black and here comes an imaginary musical bit that serves no purpose to the story.

Dope ideas. I would have definitely enjoyed your version way better lol
Would you have a different ending or keep the OG Ending from 2? With Arthur getting murked by the rando stan.
What y'all thought of the musical aspect/songs in the movies itt for those who saw it?
He's one of my favorite actors but this man Joaquin couldnt carry a tune/sing at at all. It might have been mid on purpose because of his character but it was not pleasant to listen to imo lol.
Doing a whole musical when your singing voice is mid at best is definitely a choice
Havent seen Walk the Line btw so I don't know if Joaquin is a good singer irl
