Especially when the tours you bragging about had bigger artists as co-headliners that can do solo stadium tours

It’s not about selling the tickets, it’s about being able to put on and be a part of a show that’s in a stadium setting. Lil Wayne has never shown any inclination that he can put together or deliver a live show worthy of a stadium setting. Jay has done it four times on four different tours.

In recent years, a lot of the artists had either done stadium tours prior or had stadium tours right around the corner after their Halftime Shows. And the ones where neither applied were high quality live performers. Wayne is not.

The ones who did it after their SB shows, it was easy to predict that they would be capable of doing stadium tours one day. Lil Wayne will never do a stadium tour in his entire career. He’s simply not good enough (or reliable enough) of a live performer to do that. He’s just not.

Performing in a venue is mostly based on your demand/popularity… not how good you are as a performer.

Taylor Swift could sell more tickets than Beyonce, Jay-z, Kendrick, SZA, Drake, and Weeknd combined but that doesn’t make her the best live performer in history

Lil Wayne is popular enough to do a small run of stadium shows, especially as a legacy/nostalgia sort of thing. The problem is he’s nowhere near good enough of a performer to deliver a stadium show. Taylor’s not great either, but she at least has theatrics to back it up.

When he did his own solo headlining tours they were always in arenas. Even 4:44 Tour which was after already doing previous co-tours in stadiums.

No, the point I’m making is that Wayne isn’t good enough of a performer to command a stadium setting, with or without a guest.

Jay, while he most likely would bring out a guest or two for some extra theatrics, is a good enough performer to be on a stadium stage, but he wouldn’t NEED to. We’re not talking about embarking on a stadium tour, we’re talking about a 13 minute Super Bowl show.
