He needs to lol. He has the discography but as a performer he would not be able to keep an engaging Super Bowl Half Time with absolutely no guests the entire way through.

    For 13 minutes? You’re wrong.

I do think he would bring out a guest because most SB performers do, but he definitely does not need to

    Dream setlist?

It’ll never happen but I would love dirt off your shoulders

You have lost your mind if you think the general public would not be largely underwhelmed at a Jay-Z halftime with no guests.

9/10 of his top songs on Spotify rn are collabs They would be pissed at the song selections and it’d be awkward af

The general public would be underwhelmed with a black rapper performing at all as we saw with the Kendrick show so what are we really saying here?

I’ll never understand why y’all care so much about white America on here.

I’m not talking about MAGA, even the Hip-hop sphere would be disappointed af at an entirely solo Jay show with no guests.

A setlist with NO special guests absolutely.

Average Hip-Hop listeners and even just ppl in general who don’t mind his music overwhelmingly listen to his collabs.

The portion who’d get excited to see him perform a random 1998 deep cut is still a minority amongst people who listen to him.

If he cut Nigga In Paris, Run This Town, Empire, Numb / Encore, Crazy In Love, 03 Bonnie, Swagga Like Us, Holy Grail, Drunk In Love, Forever Young, etc all out the setlist ppl are complaining lmao.

If he included them still but only did his verses ppl would still be pissed and grow tired of the songs being cut too early and expecting someone to come on stage only for the next song to start. S*** would feel like a DJ who keeps ruining songs

Maybe YOU would feel like that, but to try to project that onto everyone else is definitely a choice

Some things are just common sense sorry.

Hip-hop heads love IYRTITL era Drake the most.

However if he got on THE Super Bowl stage doing IYRTITL deep cuts and not having any special guests it would absolutely seem underwhelming to everyone including Hip-Hop heads for what a Super Bowl performance is supposed to be.

You can be a fan of Jay-Z and his music, like the songs performed, but still think a show is underwhelming.

Chances are if he got out there pushing 60 years old, limited movement, no guests, ignoring most of his biggest hits it’d be confusing and odd to most.

He absolutely needs some special guests to keep people entirely engaged and create some highlight moments. Nothing wrong with acknowledging that.

Lil Wayne is an awful performer so he would be a terrible representation of hip-hop on such a massive stage

You entitled to your opinions and I’m entitled to mine.

You trying to act like someone being a valid Hip-Hop fan is reliant on…. If they think a solo 2025 Jay-Z halftime would be amazing?

And nobody is denying his music or saying he doesn’t have hits.
