You wouldn’t secure your kid a job if you had the means to? Genuine question

I leave that on them to get a job they actually want to do. Make a life of their own. I can't/won't do everything for them, especially since I plan on doing that for them up until they're 21. If they haven't gotten a plan for themselves by then? Well like I said, the most I'm gonna do is make sure my grandkids are good if they have kids of their own.

i’ve seen kanye childhood home. not upper middle class.

and drake dad was mostly absent and his mom was not involved in his rap career.

and no, neither one of them is one of my favorite rappers, even tho I fw their talent.

you're glossing over the fact that donda even took kanye to china and she financed his career

and that drake moved to forrest hill in canada early in his childhood

I don't believe you have to live in the gutter to be a rapper

    I never said that.

I said I, ME, I’m not into rappers with those circumstances.

idk anything about Donda financing Kanye’s career. or neighborhoods in Canada. and furthermore, I’m not particularly into either of those artists’ early work. maybe that’s why.

I don't hate or envy the kid himself, but I think it's pretty disingenuous when people say he got to where he is solely through hard work or charisma. He did put in work, but he probably benefited a ton from connections.

Attention is a commodity and in my opinion he's taking attention away, through underhanded competition, from kids who are really trying to rap because they didn't have other options. Also the racial fetishizing in his marketing makes me uncomfortable

Y'all have thoughts on this? These are just my opinions.

so cringe lol go to twitter

Not true. You can literally blow up anywhere today. And last time I checked, Kentucky doesn’t have the most booming rap scene and is not one of those 5 rap cities you speak of. Jack damn near came out of nowhere

Kentucky has a scene now. It's not like Jack Harlow overcame that. He's riding in it.

How many states have zero rap presence at all lol

Y'all hella emotional over this lmao

Clout on this site doesn't matter in reality. I had an opinion and I expressed it. Learned more about people. To me, that's a win.

Obviously they have a scene now. My point is that wasn’t the case like 5 yrs ago when Jack was on the come up
