if I converted it would almost certainly be to shiism.
not because of how this one person engaged with me, but because the history, the apparent intentions of the prophet, and the righteous, uncorrupt nature of ali and husayn’s leadership, just genuinely seem to point in that direction. additionally, karbala as a guiding ethical principle really resonates with me.

Well its just hard for me to understand how u can have any respect for the prophet peace be upon him and still reject faith. I would need to understand why your so committed to athiesm in the first place
I simply believe there is nothing after we die. I actually would prefer to believe in life after death. the nothingness that I think follows life brings me a lot of despair. but I can’t genuinely force myself to believe something that I don’t deep down.
and I wouldn’t call myself an atheist, I think there well could be a higher power out there. I just don’t believe in life after death.

The issue is shias have no leg to stand on. The things they permit(self abuse, disrespect for the compaions and aisha) are haram per the quran

Bro to he honest with u im not sure im the right person to he giving dawah. I personally believe that this world is a test given our capacity for morals and ability to make our own choices. Islam is the only religion with textual consistency, correct morals and actual prophecies revealed through the prophet pbuh(the defeat of the byzantines)

Here are some. Islam changed my life and enabled me to give up d**** completely and start working towards my future. Thats my personal proof. Id say go to your local masjid and see how u feel
