The quran literally says the prophet revealed everything he needed to. Like why would Allah SWT just let the prophet die without revealing such important information?

To test the Ummah!
According to narrations the Muslim community will fracture into 73 sects with only one group destined for paradise and the rest for hell.

To test the companions? Who are held in high regard even in the Quran? So even the companions weren’t on haqq?

The companions were not infallible.
The 14 Infallibles were the Prophet (PBUH), his daughter and the 12 Imams.

plus the verse referring to islam as complete was revealed months before the death of the prophet, yet the prophet continued to lead prayer, to teach, to advise, no?
why are we interpreting that verse to mean the end of all guidance, rather than just the perfection of the religion’s core tenants? the argument that the prophet was denied the opportunity to write his will because “the religion was complete” makes no sense.

There is a Sahih hadith found in both Sunni and Shia collections,
Hadith goes as following: "Whosoever dies without knowing the Imam of his time dies the death of Jahiliyah (the time of ignorance)."
This points to the importance of recognizing and following the rightful leader (Imam) in Islam!

So your saying Allah SWT purposefully did something that was cause us to divide into sects even though it is specifically said to not divide into sects? And the correct sect is shiism?? The one a vast majority of muslims dont follow?

I'm not saying anything I'm just presenting the facts.

There’s nothing factual about the assumption that what the prophet was gonna write was regarding a successor. Its literally a baseless assumption people use to promote shiism

what do you say to the hadith he cited:
“Whosoever dies without knowing the Imam of his time dies the death of Jahiliyah (the time of ignorance).”
does that not suggest the prophet would address the question of leadership after his death? (although he already did at ghadir khumm, it could have been formalized in writing)

U should just know no one is going to take the opinion of kafir seriously. Ure fine with eternal hellfire. Keep your opinions to yourself
Like if u have any respect for the prophet peace be upon him than fear Allah. For your own sake

So youve done so much research on islam ure literally quoting scripture and u still reject faith. What could I possibly do to help at that point? If your fine with going to hell thats simply due to your own arrogance

Another surah btw is Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient

perhaps he rejects the faith because of how disrespectful the likes of you and the so called current custodians of the two holy mosques are towards the Ahl-al Bayt

I’m not defiant at all, I have an open heart, just haven’t taken the leap.
anyway, this has nothing to do with the historical discussion surrounding the prophet’s intentions regarding succession. I just wanted to know the basis for your belief, not discuss my personal life.

Well its just hard for me to understand how u can have any respect for the prophet peace be upon him and still reject faith. I would need to understand why your so committed to athiesm in the first place
