How is OVO a failure? PND has had a super successful career, dvsn, Majid Jordan and Roy Woods are all doing fine, Popcaan is working hard & they just signed Smiley who is one of the hottest out there rn. OVO gives proper support and visibility to its artists but in the end it's their job to shine. There's a reason why their artists won't leave the label, they are happy at OVO

Who signed Party, MJ etc.?

I remember Drake saying in an interview way back that he didn’t want to sign a rapper to OVO, because he was so focused on being the best. Which was a big mistake imo, Drake could’ve had the same influence on rap artist like Wayne did with him and Nicki when his “stimulus” was going strong.
