And you don’t need either of those to have a decent 4k 60 experience
9070xt’s still easily available around $650
5070 around $500
4080 around $400-450 used
It is 2026 man you are out of touch
9070xt lowest one in stock right now is $750
5070’s cheapest ones are now $800 if you can even find them in stock. Ti’s now $1250 if you can even find them.
4000 series used market probably best bet like you said. Or 9070xt from secondary market. But 5070’s on are now completely ridiculous
Still reveling in myself getting the 5070 for 400 bucks last year with that Christmas PayPal in 4 deal

Deals can pop up pretty consistently at least in the past few months, probably will change in the near future.
You can get close to those prices or below buying a discounted pre built. Extra work of having to sell parts you don’t want, but it’s worth it atp

Tbf I haven’t been keeping up as much as I did the past few years. If you look hard enough decent deals are still out there, but I doubt they will be for long

Consoles are the least of the general public's worry. The consumer electronics market as a whole is cooked and will never recover
Will an Nvidia RTX 6080 launch at $1500+ if this all keeps up?
Probably, right?

iphone duos are on backorder until february lol
iphone duos are on backorder until february lol
Doesn’t mean anything. Vision Pro and iPhone Air sold like hot cakes at launch because of enthusiast hype and still fell off a cliff afterwards
iphone duos are on backorder until february lol
Yeah because they made like five of them not because they're affordable and in high demand
I was ready for this before the tariffs

Low balling it. If they even make consumer GPU’s again

4080 was $1199 at launch, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Hell it might be higher
We’re gon see the longest cross-gen period ever (PS5 bout to be supported for at least 15 years).

$1,800-2k most likely. If they're really cutting 90 series they'll move it to high end pricing

I get that the *90 (or 80 TI for 20 series) Model is basically what the Titan used to be
& the Titan (Pascal) launched at ~$1199
So even if the 1080TI launched at $699, it was a whole year later
But damn, they are really killing our wallets
Samsung made $80bn profit on its last quarter
That's more profit than they made for the whole of 2023-25
ppl are stupid and are already buying $100 video games this will be no different
