    Yall are smoking d***

Prime future would have MULTIPLE hits per drop

I cant think of a signature lil baby hit

One is a popping rapper the other is a superstar

if you cant think of lil babys multiple hits per drop, you not following rap very well lately.

    Not really.

Lil Baby is thriving in the streaming age in a relatively non-competitive era.

Future thrived with Drake/Cole/Kendrick/Sean/Nicki as his peers and he still got multiple number 1 albums, major influence, and a solo hit(Mask Off) that's way bigger and timeless than any Lil Baby song, etc.

    But time will tell.

I think The Bigger Picture peaked at number 3 while Future's solo hit you mentioned peaked at number 5

    Peak doesn't matter

His all lives matter song peaked for one week during the national unrest of 2020 lol, throw in some context

is it not the highest the song reaches on the charts? i think that kinda matters if you're discussing who has had the bigger solo hit

if i'm wrong please inform me

Yes, he is. No question. Future is great but the thing is, Lil Baby has been gettting way more clout commercially off the strength of Bigger Picture which opened a lot of doors

  • Jun 3, 2021

Drake literally had to join forces with future to get control of the situation, that’s how hot he was...also he was putting out projects of hits it wasn’t a Wayne-like feature run

Future got more No 1s, more billboard entries, more hits, more classics, more platinum and gold albums albums songs.

And the bigger hit of them two of them.

Lil Baby is more welcome commercially maybe but that's about it.

funnily enough as far as songs go (featuring another artist or being featured) i think they highest either has reached was #2 both with Drake

the difference between future and baby is baby has hits while translating his hype into album sales. Future has been inconsistent in that regard for part of his career. For the amount of success future has had, you would think he would have bigger albums. Uzi is more successful than future when it comes to album sales that should tell you something

Future has been rapping since the early 2000's vs Lil Baby starting in 2017, not just dropping, literally started rapping in 2017
