Remote jobs that aren't basically call centers in 2025

I'm a videographer that's done some low budget films. Bleak is not the word. It's been horrible. But the past 2 months I've been grinding nonstop. My biggest annual client passed away earlier this year. He would give me a list of 20 non-profits we'd strive to cover each year, I have a list dating back to 2019. So I spent the last month cold calling every number. I managed to lock a few in as new potential clients. It's really float or drown out here.

I use to be getting interviews pretty regularly. Get up to like the 4th round and, and then they decide to go a different direction for w/e reason. Now I’m barely even getting calls back as of 4 months ago. Idk wtf is going on. Resume still the same, the calls just stopped

I got a lot more interviews from October-december. I guess that 4th quarter phase is when they hire the most

Hmm, I definitely would like to start looking for work

Though, what's keeping me is a) seeing if I'm eligible for disability (nah, had severe mental breakdowns that led me to jail) b)having a felony over my head (not convicted/will prob be dropped because mental health but still)

I'm also really scared that my first good check, I'll relapse, but alas I kind of have to get bread to live so....

About to gain a qualification and my company is probably keen on keeping me. But I'm highly considering saying no without a back up and just being unemployed for a (hopefully short) while

in this job market that's a risky move

My job makes me miserable, I feel like I don't know what I'm doing half the time and there's conflict between the 2 people in charge of me which is frustrating my work. Plus if I stay, I'll be expected to bring in clients to justify my salary increase and I'm not confident in my ability to do that

Just feel like I'll be happier somewhere else where there isn't as much pressure on me to find clients

i got rejected but i f***ed the interview and one of the tests up rly hard

ive accepted that my run as a mathematician/programmer is probably over and its time to get an experimental biology job

i dont think computer science math or logic is rly my strength. like yea i understand some of that s*** but its not rly my strength cus i struggle with a lot of it tbh, not even cus its so hard but because i genuinely dont care
