body of work (a lot of quality in free mixtapes lol)…influence…artists signed…lyrical ability…creativity…name a rap style he got it…

Big and Pac are literal legends, not just in rap terms, but in book definition terms.3 different generations have had a chance to dethrone both of them, and people still uphold their influence and body of work against bigger bodies of work. Wayne is in the discussion, but art isn't about work ethic and Wayne definitely has some duds.

Wayne got better with each project just like Pac did and even with his creative tilt in 09’ still gave us No Ceilings and IANAHB

Wayne gave us Carter 1-3, Da Drought 1-3 and dedication 1-3 by the same age Pac and Big passed plus all his features plus all his hits. Pac and Big unfortunately passed before they showed what they could do as leaders with the crews they built, which Wayne then did with Nicki and Drake while still dropping Carter 4 and the 2 mixtapes I mentioned, all before having his fire stopped by jail and contract disputes and then still gave us Carter 5 which is quality lol

I feel like Wayne is easily one of the most influential rappers of the 21st century, period. It's much easier to put him against Jay-Z, Kanye, T.I. etc. When you get in too Big and Pac territory, I think it's an easier discussion for younger guys to put him over, who grew up on Wayne and Young Money. Wayne was literally like a pop star back then, couldn't avoid him.

Big and Pac are like tall tales to the new gen at this point. Especially Biggie, he gets disrespected a lot in this workrate generation of rap; but, Life After Death and Ready To Die are some of the most mature, cinematic rap productions in rap history, those albums can't be replicated. So if you want to put Wayne over Big/Pac, that's fine, just keep it to yourself cause someone will always be somewhere to argue against it lol.

why is it so taboo to discuss Pac and Big in comparison to current legends?

That’s like saying “yea we can’t compare niggas to Wilt cause he was putting up 50/30/6 a game while playing all 48”

that’s just unfair and keeps us stuck not even being able to properly discuss what the artist has done and amount it to “he has some duds” like Pac don’t have a dud with all the music he did

Chill, I'm not saying it can't be argued that "Wayne is the GOAT", I'm just saying that it probably won't ever be a definitive thing. You go in the South, your going to have a lot of people argue that Pac is the GOAT a lot of the time. You go to the right hood, they'll say Boosie or Gucci Mane the GOAT. I've heard a good number of folks claim Wayne as their GOAT too.

It's all subjective, and the b-ball a***ogy is different, cause Wilt's competition at the time could not compete with him,
