    It’s fine, I just really get concerned with the younger generation using it for school assignments or when they are super lonely / getting bullied

    There really needs to be age safeguards with it

    My IT director had us all in a meeting a few months back to discuss how AI is in no way taking anyone’s jobs. He said it’s gonna be well past any of our lifetimes before AI is smart enough to take on an actual employees role.

    Right now, all they are trying to do with AI is just set it up to handle password resets, and even that is a struggle. They are trying to utilize it for very mundane tasks to free up our time for projects & s***

    Apparently, adding "- ai" to your image searches on Google will remove gen ai imagery.

    Also, I'm told filtering your search to pre-2022 works too.

    Haven't tried it myself yet, but thought I'd preemptively share...

    yup. you add "before:2022" to google and it'll only show you stuff before 2022.

    my ig feed, which knows i wanna see music and movie content, is just full of such drivel now. MOVIEMOMENTS, ICONICMUSICSCENES, HISTORICMUSIC slop pages with completely wrong captions, videos that aren't what they say they are, a bunch comments that just eat it up. ruined the whole thing.
