Dude's an actual menace. It's a long ass story about how he's a woman abuser and all this s***, but I can't really say that at work cuz of the legal ramifications (this mfer is literally suing one of my friends mom's for telling people about his abuse, with police reports and complaints and all to corroborate her, she wasn't the one being abused, she just knows a few women that have shown proof).

Anyways, I work in IT and this dumb ass sucks at his job luckily, so I got plenty of evidence Ive collected over months of not only his incompetence, but straight up malicious behavior: He breaks systems to create problems to "fix" or to sabotage someone's workflow that he's mad at. He straight up disables people's logins because they sent an email that made him mad, then he blames it on some glitch when they can't work for a day (I have proof of this via audit logs and a few contextual messages, unfortunately I don't have voice recordings of him saying it, but he's most definitely told me straight up that that's what he does).

And that's on top of how technically illiterate he is. He's supposed to be the Director of IT and he doesn't know how SMTP/Email works. Doesn't know DNS or records. Mfer asked me what a FTP server was lmao. Doesn't know how to properly manage a network or servers. Has no idea what Linux is. bro tests his stupid Intune policies on PRODUCTION and breaks s*** all the time for people, then I have to come in and fix it, find the root cause, and kindly tell his stupid ass to undo whatever he did. When I tried to ask about using test users and groups he was like "Why?”

They literally got this contractor dude who actually knows his s*** to do all the "hard" s*** my boss can't do, no joke lmao. That dude is the one who set up the entire network, the VLANs, routing, wifi networks, VPNs, etc. He even set up the Active Directory Windows server. What the f*** is my boss even there for, I can literally do (and have done) all that s***. My boss claims to always be busy with other stuff, but has literally NOTHING to show for it.

Basically, I went to his boss (VP of Ops) and told her everything I could after he yelled at me on the phone for not going on site to fix a printer issue at the end of the work day (wasn't even urgent, they had a second printer to use, plus I was literally gonna address it the next day). I told his ass straight up: he's not a team player, I leave notes for him, send him texts, emails, call him (he picks up like 50% of the time), yet he never does his part. Then he tries to say I don't do anything and just sit in my office all day (LMAO). I was a lil heated, so I told him man you're not busy, you say you're working at home then go to the bar and get drunk and then call me about stuff I need to do while being noticeably inebriated (This 100% has happened multiple times). That pissed him off so much lmao. He was denying it like a mfer, talking about he's got GPS location on his phone and can show proof (bullshit lmfao, he already knows how to spoof his location because he lost custody of his kid so he tries to prove to the judge he's not at the bar all the time like he is, but it's futile cause his son has literally said he's scared of him and doesn't want to see him (my friends mom is friends with his BM)).

it's a coincidence that yesterday he saw me talking to this woman (one of my brother's old best friends) that he hates (because she knows about his s*** too, we were downtown at an event), and I think because of that, he thinks of me as an enemy now (he's a narcissist with mental issues), so now he's going to try and make my life hell by nitpicking all kinds of s***. Like the above accusation makes no sense. In my SOP, it says I must do everything I can to get things solved remotely as to not waste my time going some where. But now suddenly he wants me to drive every where as soon as there's an issue reported, huge contradiction. He's purposely trying to inconvenience me so that I crash out and leave.

The VP was very nice and understanding. She took notes about what I said and I could tell she was shocked when I dropped the bit about him disabling people's access and blaming it on glitches.

On top of that, the entire org hates him. Literally everyone says the same thing about him lmao.

One of the Directors of a dept I help a lot reached out to me yesterday to ask if I was good because she knows how big of a d*** he is. And the s*** was a little harrowing tbh, not only did she recognize how s***ty he is at his job, she was begging me not to leave and keep my cool because she didn't want me to leave them alone with him (it's just us two in the IT dept). They're literally so scared of him because he's so rude and uncooperative. And he's always able to get his way somehow. He's one of those people that when you ask him a question, he gets annoyed as if you're asking him some dumb s***. Which is ironic because the dude doesn't even know how to do half the stuff that's expected of someone at his level.

I work in a female dominated org (like literally 80-90% women), so this s*** is actually insane to me. He abuses and harasses women in his personal life, then sabotages them and gaslights them in his professional life. He needs to be stopped. I wrote this big ass essay (which I didnt even mean to), and I still haven't even told the half of it lmao. This s*** has been eating away at me for months and I finally hit the breaking point.

I spoke to his boss in private, and then sent all the relevant screenshots (nearly 30) I got to his boss, with an explanation behind each one. I feel like I've unleashed something I can't come back from, and these next few days/weeks are going to be very interesting (honestly stressful as f***). ATP fire me, s*** would be a gift to be free from all this bs, plus I could just get unemployment while I find another job. Not ideal but it's better than having to work with an arrogant s*** head who's constantly trying to get me in trouble.

Tl;dr: Boss is a known woman abuser/harrasser, somehow the job doesn't know about it or something despite being a 80-90% female dominated place, but the part I'm trying to get him in trouble for is actual work s***: He sabotages systems to keep people from being able to work because they made him mad, or they won't let him do something, then blames it on glitches. Creates literally all his own problems. It's a cycle of me basically having to troubleshoot dumb s*** he set up (or sabotaged) and telling him how it can be fixed. Also all of this behavior is basically corroborated by how much everyone there hates him and doesn't trust him (I literally know EVERYONE there cause I'm the frontline IT guy, and I'm cool with them all.)

Also, a lot of issues go like this: I troubleshoot, find a root cause and potential solution, it requires admin access (which he gatekeeps pretty much every procedure, which makes it hard for me to see issues through til the end, I have to rely on his dumb ass to do it, and he won't even notify me when it's done or what he did (that's if he even does it). He'll go back and forth with me asking dumb ass questions (sometimes answered by previous notes I left in the ticket, but he doesn't read s***), then finally he'll try what I said, and it'll suddenly start working.

And it's hilarious that he gatekeeps all the admin stuff because at my last job I had full admin access to basically every system, including our AWS cloud environment. I could've caused thousands of dollars worth of damage easily, either accidentally or on purpose, broke s***, and I never did anything remotely close to that. Matter of fact, I learned AWS and actually built solutions used by the company to this day.

Only reason I took this new job (oh yeah, my boss, Ive known him personally for a few years and he begged me for over a year to come work for him before I finally gave in) was cause the pay was a really good increase from my last job. I never trusted this dude at all, even before I knew about all the s*** people told me. Something about him was just very superficial and I could tell he wasn't that tech savvy.

Please tell me I'm not crazy, cause I feel like I'm going crazy tbh.

How this guy got IT Director role when he's helpdesk level

  • Also will update with how proceedings go.

Theyve gone thru 3 IT people in 2 years. The last guy that left told HR he would not recommend anyone to come and work IT because of my boss. That guy left on to a better job with a boss that actually knows what they're doing (lucky ass).

The last guy before me, I guess my boss got him so tilted, he crashed out and threatened to beat his ass , he got fired for that.

But man, I don't blame him at all. I actually feel terrible for him, he had just gotten out of working in maintenance and was trying really hard at learning IT (I saw his old study notes). He was actually learning pretty good and did decent work from what people told me, but the boss is just too big of a d***. There's no way anyone could ever grow there, let alone an actual noobie. I know it's not ok to crash out, but you have to ask: what prompted that?

How this guy got IT Director role when he's helpdesk level

That's what I been asking nearly since I got there.

I remember the System A***yst who just left, I hadn't really talked to him outside work yet and was really curious about how he felt. I almost wondered if he even noticed all the bs cuz I legit thought I was just crazy, but he confirmed immediately that he felt the exact same way lmao.

He's lucky asl to have got this job. S*** is almost evil how it worked out for him tbh. Back when he was cool with me (before yesterday), he would tell me about how pissed off the job makes him and about how he's about to leave and looking at other places. He's not getting an equivalent job lmao. That s*** was all a bluff to gauge my reaction. He interviews anywhere else for a director role, even Sys Admin, there's no doubt they're going to pass on him immediately after they do the technical interview.

Only reason he got the job was cause they had to create the IT dept, so the guy they had doing IT interviews wasn't even in IT.

He knows some.of my older brother's friends. He actually seems like a really cool funny dude outside of work when he's being chill. But he has a crazy ass dark side. Especially once I learned about his abuse and harassment. He's likely manic/bipolar, plus he's an actual alcoholic.

But you know what's crazy, everyone in my circle (elders and all) told me to take the job, despite me being reluctant about it. Because I learned about the abuse stuff 4 months before I decided to apply there, and that was part of what I told people too. Even the lady he's suing told me to take the job if the pay jump is that good. I was like cool, f*** it. Never again. I got a masterful intuition, and I ignored it yet again to my detriment

Because me and others have a theory that someone is protecting him.

He has not seen punishment for any of his incompetence as far as I know.

If nothing comes of this, he's going to target me so hard, it's going to make working there impossible without "breaking his policies".

I THINK he was put on an Employee Improvement Plan after the last guy left (I saw it in his ChatGPT chat history when he was showing me something on his PC ). Cause the next chat after that was one about his resume. I don't have PROOF, but I have strong clues.

So maybe right now was the best time to strike, as the guy left about a month ago.

    So did it work

I did this today. I'm guessing I'll hear back from her tomorrow about this.

I also told her I recorded the call we had were we argued and he was yelling at me. Bro was yelling at me like I was his kid, s*** made me so mad. I went silent after I told him about him being drunk at the bar when he's supposed to be working. I did a little "Hah" when he said "I have never been drunk on the job!" He screamed that s*** at me lmao.
Then he was like "Oh you think it's funny? You laughing??". I was just like "No." Bro probably almost crashed out. I should've kept egging him on low-key.

Yeah, there's no coming back from this. We're full speed ahead
