I don’t understand why you can’t understand that there are people who enjoy things that you don’t for valid reasons. I think if I’m being objective for a moment, it was not one of the best GOT seasons, but the highs were high enough to the point where I had fun watching it. Wish I could rewatch it again for the first time tbh. That entire scene where Dany is destroying King’s Landing and Jon and the others are invading the city was f***ing awesome. The sell swords getting obliterated at the gate was cool as s***. I still rewatch that scene from time to time. There are a few others that I return to here and there. Enough to make me feel good about it, despite the s***ty ending
He’s a curmudgeon bro
So their strategy was using caves to evade the dragons. Then they decided to send all their forces out to attack 1 man knowing that they got dragons. How did they fight these idiots for 3 years? Then the crab guy gets killed offscreen lol. Just felt hella rushed
You could explain that specific part away by saying, every small batch of soldiers they sent were getting one shotted
It does seem visually stupefying to think that the same soldiers who’d make such a mistake to not keep an eye out for a dragon beat down their army for 3 years ||, but from what I could tell, || him coming down to fight hand to hand was new and that dragon was rarely, if ever, rode by someone not Daemon in the course of the war. So they probably thought it was out when he came alone
Love that lotr gives me my fix of elves/more fantasy stuff like that and HOTD gives me crazy dragon scenes and incest

You need a fix for that?
Solid so far
Really reminds me of the got s2/3 vibes minus the charismatic characters and the sexual debauchery

Rhaenyra and Daemon aren't charismatic?
Rhaenyra and Daemon aren't charismatic?
Yes but that’s not saying much compared to got ensemble cast, although the best characters were not really developed yet at the beginning of s1 so we’ll see
That battle was some bullshit. Bro dodged a thousand arrows and was only hit twice. Then Crabfeeder's army stood around him and waited for the Dragons and reinforcements to come save him. Ok bruh.
And then all this hype about the Crabfeeder and we didn't see the 1v1.

yeah def was unrealistic, but you gotta suspend disbelief in a show of this dramatic level.

Crabfeeder prolly wasn't anywhere near the level of fighter Daemon is
Daemon is a Targaryen prince who has gotten the best training possible, Crabfeeder is a frail deformed man who has an army to do his work
Daemon probably cut him down in seconds
It's very early, but I'm looking for one these characters to make me care. They need some secondary storylines also, it's been too much " who is going to be named successor?" for me.

It doesn't matter if he's a great fighter or not, once you get a nickname and you're the lead villain, your final fight has to be filmed. That's like "Film 101". This guy has been winning for three years against them and dies off camera, nah fam.

If that’s the case, they had a golden opportunity to visually show the audience how gifted a fighter Daemon is by having the Crabfeeder fight be on screen.
You don’t set up an antagonist like that and have an entire two year conflict with said antagonist and then get rid of him offscreen, that’s horrid writing
