Just finished the episode kinda anticlimactic
If that’s the case, they had a golden opportunity to visually show the audience how gifted a fighter Daemon is by having the Crabfeeder fight be on screen.
You don’t set up an antagonist like that and have an entire two year conflict with said antagonist and then get rid of him offscreen, that’s horrid writing
Yeah. Whole "war" felt really rushed. Not a big deal cause it's just a side plot and we still got some cool s*** with dragons, but still. Can only guess it was a budget/time thing.
Yeah I understand that but why did they decide to ditch their one advantage that they’ve been using for 3 years to attack 1 wounded man? 🤣
U kill daemon the war is over

You don’t need your whole army to surround him lol…

“they had a golden opportunity to show the audience how gifted a fighter Daemon is”
Dude, they literally DID show that and everybody in here is complaining about that part because only a couple of arrows hit him lmao I am honestly glad I am critical of s*** that I watch, but not at this level where it seems like y’all can’t enjoy s*** thoroughly without picking things apart first for no real reason lol

They showed he was great but not invincible in the first episode
Crabfeeder had like 26 seconds of screentime across 2 episodes, they acting like he’s The Night King 😂😂😂😭
Considering the show doesn't have any dialogue to take from the books, Ryan Condal has been doing a great job with writing the dialogue for this show
I really loved how before the Daemon scene, the ineptitude of the archers was on full display by showing them not being able to hit big ass ships that were damn near stationary!
y'all acting like it's hawkeye shooting these arrows
Man it was 100s of arrows they didn’t need to be Hawkeye to hit him
For all the complaining Galadriel got in LOTR for being OP and a “Mary Sue” by taking down 1 troll Daemon deserves some smoke for his plot armor in this episode

Real but it wont happen

It’s really not that crazy. An unreliable weapon, shot from a long distance away, trying to hit a singular, slim, quickly moving target.
There’s a reason arrows are mainly used in line combat, they’re almost useless in every other situation.
And… he was still hit a couple times.

Having him run through a downpour of arrows is not showing the audience how gifted of a fighter he is, that’s just terrible writing

Nah this ain’t it. Also you can’t defend them circling him and just standing there for 10 seconds instead of attacking so the dragon could come in and clean up.

How do you explain him being wounded and completely surrounded by 50+ enemies, and not being killed/taken prisoner?

If it was just a few being shot at him yes it wouldn’t be that crazy but for as much as there was it’s unrealistic he made it as far as he did let alone live. He was dodging arrows like he was in bullet time in the matrix
I know shows/movies need to have these conveniences for the sake of the story so it’s not a big deal to me but I can admit it’s plot armor

I can and I will by… just not being bothered by it!
Lmao idk how some of you ever liked GOT with some of the s*** you’re complaining about.
Meanwhile I get called nit-picky for pointing out that the trip from Kings Landing to Dragonstone last episode, one that would take around a thousand miles and over a week back and forth, happening in a 5 minute segment is very similar to the location jumping in Season 7 and 8!
Unreal!!

I liked the episode. I just think that should be called out as kind of lame.
