Im gonna have to say tho ive died way more sprinting into enemies due to the fact that it takes a second to bring your gun back up so they get first shot

And also cause your shield doesn’t regenerate.

Although i would personally like to see it go away with how much fun im having in MCC, it being back isnt the worst thing.

5’s arena multiplayer was fun. The campaign and maps were just trash

You have to look at the population over time. Reach took a mean dive while H3 stayed alive and thriving til Reach came out.

I would blame that more on armor abilities in general being unbalanced, but sprint by itself does do anything when halo reach and 4 still play good compared to 5

That’s H5 that added the whole ‘your shields won’t come back while you’re sprinting’ thing and it was certainly a step in the right direction but the whole issue would be fixed if they never had sprint and just up’d the base player movement.

You dying while sprinting tho does not mean much for the argument at hand though. Sprint doesn’t automatically mean you’re impervious to punishment, but it does make that punishment incredibly less likely to happen.
