It was during the Halo v CoD phase. Halo Reach/4 took the CoD formula and when CoD dropped every disappeared from Halo Reach/4.
Halo being an arena shooter is what stood out. Remember when CoD tried doing jet packs and etc and stepped away from what made the game popular? Everyone took a step away from the series

Because Halo (what it was at least) is STILL the best multiplayer experience I’ve ever had in my life.

I’ve tried everything. Nothing has a high TTK + amazing balance between individual/team play + simple but overly effective maps + high skill gap + button glitches (this isn’t a necessity obv but was COOL AF) + power weapons on a timer + meta game for days with the hidden mechanics etc etc etc

Like the Halo franchise originally had. It was the perfect mix for me. And I have to keep trying for it no matter how sad it seems to y’all lol Nothing else fits me the same.

Yeah I haven’t been able to play a FPS like crazy since H3. Everything else to me just falls off after 2 weeks.

It was done right with a lot of games at least. BRs just seem lazy. No competitive merit to me. Mostly meant for kids. Just my opinion.
