I haven’t been in this thread as much as others but I haven’t really seen that many people call it bad I feel like it’s more of a combination of people wanting a new sound from him or for him to revisit some of his older sounds. I liked the album so I don’t care either way but I haven’t seen anything too egregious

If that was case the whole album wouldn’t “sound the same” like people say. He was trying to create an artistic/cohesive project and that’s what he did
