Seriously debating dropping extra on a PS5 just for it
It is gorgeous on PS5. Playing for the first time and I'm hooked
I hate it tbh
I wish there was a map HUD (or at least the option to turn it on) cause some times the wind be going

I feel u
Some parts when there's snow be crazy
The option to turn it on would've been dope
Sucker punch is alright tho, who knows they might even add it
11 hours in and still on Act 1
I'm def taking a slow burn approach to this game
I probably finished the story in less than 11 hours
The Ronin attires with the furry sword kits is some Ottoman s*** and i like it
You can pet the ghost dogs in legends mode
bear too
annoying af when u do it on accident mid combat, but u can cancel it out by jumping
Need the sengoku era as setting for the next game (1500-1550)
Civil war with figures like Tokugawa and Nobunaga
Focus on urban areas like Edo + Osaka castle
First contact with european powers (Portugal)
Christianity vs japanese religion
First use of artillery and huge sieges
Third game needs to be about the end of the samurais (The Last Samurai Like)
Started Legends Mode so far it's the weirdest s*** I've seen
idk what's going on
Ending spoilers
I did not expect to face Shimura at the ending that was wild although it made sense and it was where the story was bound to go.
I let him live, against his wishes, I felt like that was the better ending.
it made more sense to me to let lord shimura live because in killing him I would be honoring the samurai code that I spent the entire game drifting away from. The journey Jin went on wouldn’t have made any sense. At the same time, I would get if you wanted to respect his wishes and grant him an honorable death.

I’m just starting too, I’m down to play if you want
my psn is planetwhy
Legends is dope af. I'm about to max out on Assassin I f*** with the look and play style.
Glad they added this, this is better than any multiplayer additions added to single player games I've ever played.
I'm like 5 hours in on the PS5 and:
Graphically? It's gorgeous (even if it is kinda empty, maybe RDR2 spoiled me)
Music? Probably one of the best parts of the game, perfectly complementary
Gameplay? Combat is pretty fun, even if it is at its core mostly pretty basic and easy, it's simple but effective
Now story and quests is where I feel like there's a problem
It feels so painfully cliche and on the nose
Every quest ends up turning into a wild goose chase that drags out painfully with 10 unskippable cutscenes of boring dialogue
Everything feels so SLOW, s*** gets on my merges
Hope things pick up soon because this part of the game feels wildly generic
Playing Sekiro alongside this and its not even a competition

Felt the exact same way, the story is such a snooze man, makes me think what type of games people been playing to say the story in this is amazing

plus Jin already felt that he had killed his own father, so it makes sense he would refuse to kill his surrogate father.
