Yeah, lets willfully ignore the hundreds of pages spitting s*** and pushing a false narrative. I dont care if Drake lost, but its a fact all this s*** aint good for the game.
We dont even know the “real reason” why the beef started. Its all “Drake bad” allegations and then nobody cant point a single fact.
It took a toll on the game, even white people laughed it off and every body took hip hop as a silly gossip game. Do you think its a coincidence the game is lacking right now?
The music business generally is humming along just fine fam. You can read UMGs financial statements and they're doing fine. Artists are breaking touring records etc...
If we're talking more specifically about hip hop, there's been a failure on a part of the labels to break new rap superstars all decade for a million cultural reasons. It really doesn't make sense to pin that on the beef. The beef was concentrated on past-their-prime legacy acts and its one of the only exciting things that happened this decade.

Paramount has a really good documentary called Predators that came out this year taking a look back at the To Catch a Predator era, the episode where the guy killed himself, and copycats that exist today including Hansen’s new show.
The general publics lack of consciousness with regards to that serious topic is much bigger than hip-hop, streamers, and music.
It’s a really well done doc I highly recommend
