Jesus Christ his videos suck. So jayz is trying to get into online sports gambling and the USA want to ban things like stake so roc nation filed lawsuits against Drake to throw dirt on stake and Drake name. The lawsuits came at a time when Drake had bad press.

I imagine this was done so the general public will vote to ban stake in the USA.

    Yeah it makes sense.

Am I supposed to root for jayz or drake? The root of all of this is online gambling which is evil as f***. Drake isn’t a hero or victim. Neither is Jay z.

  • Jayz never stopped selling d****. Went from selling crack to selling liquor to gambling.

This dude was sent from hell

i dont think you need to root for anyone, this is mostly about transparency.

like jay being interviews and talking about why he would have something against drake or need to pay attention to him sound corny, when he has roc nation lawyers fishing for dirt on drake in random expositions.

if they are moving like this against drake, i believe that they were able to end plenty of smaller artists and influences behind the scenes - unless are rich rich you cant compete against these kind of lawyers and PR machine.

anyway its good to see more of this information being in the public. if they want to go against each other, go ahead, but dont pretend like there are no issues while sending shots behind the scenes.

It's a much more complicated and nuanced issue that I don't think we're really supposed to be "rooting" behind one or the other. There's a lot at play here, one artist doing paid promotion from the biggest online gambling conglomerate and the other artist trying to open casinos, monopolize gambling in the tri-state area and turn it into some kind of New Vegas. Both similar evils that go against the roots they've struggled with and humble begins they came from, which may play a large factor in their psyches at this point in their lives (going from 0 to the top in their respective fields). On top of the gambling aspect there is also another war between these 2 going on that predates this Stake vs Roc Casinos battle.

This is also an ego battle for the throne in hip-hop. It's not outright acknowledged by either side but with where Hov is at and Drake is at either one can go down as the #1 overall act in the genre. You can argue Hov doesn't have the discography but he's had the influence and the media, seen and behind the scenes, while Drake has the statistics and most casuals. Stake vs Roc is just another proxy in the long battle that these dudes are way too old but overly invested to care about. Winning the gambling war is just another ring to these guys. I personally "root" for Drake because supporting Hov is supporting the worst of the industry but Stake is not a hill we need him to die on
