The new league is owned by oligarchs, sheikhs and venture capitalists. There is no "enpowering" going on here, this is a detriment to the working class fans and the lower league players who are paid literally nothing compared to these ESL players.

some clubs here are struggling to even finish in a champions league spot the traditional way (some like arsenal haven’t at all in while now). why do they even think it would be competitive to see them in this league. it’s just stupid

Notice how quick UEFA & FIFA are quick to ban and kick teams out once it hurts their pockets but if there’s a racist incident on the pitch, they give out a lousy fine and a generic PR statement on “we are one 🙌” bullshit.

I don't wanna watch barca-bayern play glorified friendles every week that s*** is dead. You can't see why removing stakes from the game, devaluing big games and removing all chance of underdog success stories would make the football product considerably worse?

Munich, Bilbao and Dublin were all given until Monday to provide UEFA with additional information on their plans for spectators, with that deadline now extended."

Munich previously said that they don't want to have spectators due to the pandemic. UEFA wasn't really happy with that and threatened them now to make a plan or they will be excluded.
