The biggest and greatest rapper of all time
Biggest for sure. Greatest is debateable though.
It’s always the young ones that try to negate Eminem’s impact in hip-hop
Of course, how can I expect you to respect this man when your first exposure was trash albums like MMLP2 and onwards
But rest assured, dude is a f***ing legend
Maybe his music doesn’t resonate well with this age of hip-hop but it will get its flowers
Eminem hasn't made a good album in 20 years. Can't be mad if the current generation don't rate him for s***.
These days, he just seems like a washed up version of himself who is unwilling to stop rapping despite only releasing worse and worse music as time goes by.

I think his last 3 albums have all been good. And MMLP2 was good. S***, they’re all good except revival

Imo last good album was Recovery

Nope. They're just not as bad as Revival. That doesn't make them good.
It's like Big Sean releasing the dumpster fire that was Hall of Fame. Whatever he released after that that was even remotely decent was always going to be seen as some incredible body of work just because of how bad the previous body of work was.
I always thought that MMLP was his best selling album
It was for a while , but the Eminem show does have alot of his iconic songs , that are easily digestible, and that has helped with its long time streaming numbers.

Agree to disagree

Recovery was mid. His last good/great album was the Eminem Show.
Recovery had a few good moments but as an album, it's just as mediocre as Relapse. That's kinda been Eminem's story on every album post-The Eminem Show tbh. There'll be a few songs that show hints of the genius lyricist and rhymer that he once was but they'll be boggled down by the rest of the album just being terrible.
Eminem hasn't had anything interesting to say in 20 years.
Fair enough.
The one I would say is the most objectively good would be MMLP2

As a sequel album, I'd say it was a worthy attempt. Bad Guy is underrated and I like some other tracks off the album as well.

i want to know how relapse is mediocre. arguably his most lyrical, his voice/accents were perfect, beats were his best imo. only thing is the outlandish lyrics and s*** but thats his music + it was the concept
(besides we made it)
Idc how many numbers he put up, he still has one of the worst discographies in hip hop history

i wouldn't say that, he has a classic album and a couple really good ones but it is hilarious how he's dissing em for no reason. i think he thinks he's on his kanye s***
he forgets these days
"Me and Marshall ain't start s***, they listen to our s***
Then talk s*** about us but that s*** is foul when
I'm tryna feed my son and drop multi-platinum albums
Make my mother proud that her son made it out
But it's hard when they hate us, and think Em a racist
They say s*** but f*** them, Shady one of the greatest
Like Biggie and 'Pac was, we saw the throne was empty
And decided to chase it, me, him and 50 racin'"
"Lo, get Dre on the phone quick
Tell him Em' just killed me on my own s***
I'm walking through 8 Mile, startin' to get home sick
I'ma do Shady numbers, I'm ridin' my own d***
Yeah the chrome sick, the window's tinted
If Eminem is in it, body armor under the Pendleton"
