yeah i disagree with nwts. i dont believe that album could be any better with a different tracklist
i agree on best catalog of songs, def not best album discog
Tbh NWTS tracklist has grown on me more through the years but Iâll always feel like Come Thru and The Motion shouldâve been on the standard tracklist over Own It and The Language
You didnt mention like 200 absolutely incredible feats, loosies and leaks.
And Her Loss and HNVM are up there with the albums you mentioned.
They think "discography" means only albums lmao.
I think he has the strongest discography of any mainstream rapper in history across all his albums, mixtapes, features, remixes, loosies, etc. Hands down. Once you start to breakdown all he's done, there's no need to even question it lol. He's done A LOT in the 16 years since Room for Improvement.
That's cap
it would feel weird if drake dropped another full length project before 21 ngl
21 been coasting off features and he is moving on his own time.
They think "discography" means only albums lmao.
I mean tbf, it does have that implication unless you make the distinction otherwise. It has the word âdiscâ in it and itâs definitely the first thing people would assume
Catalog is a better word if weâre talking full body of work
They think "discography" means only albums lmao.
Albums/full length projects definitely hold the most weight in a discography though.
Drakeâs feature catalog is absolutely incredible but it wouldnât mean s*** if he didnât also release amazing full length projects throughout his career like he has
You didnt mention like 200 absolutely incredible feats, loosies and leaks.

That's the main ingredient tho
Drake albums have way too much filler to be considered the strongest discography
CLB
Scorpion
Views
TML
More Life
All ass albums with some great tracks
am I the only one who listens to Honestly Nevermind more than CLB?
CLB is trash compared to Honestly Nevermind and even Her Loss. CLB and Scorpion are messes with some hidden gems
ghostface
You can @ me but name one Drake album better than Supreme Clientele, Fishscale or Ironman. Iâll wait
I would specify the difference between an album discography and like a catalog of songs though tbf
I get the argument that someone like Tylerâs albums are âless flawedâ but itâs really tough to say his body of work as a whole is better than drakeâs when if we look at it as songs rather than albums, it would skew heavily towards drake with him having way more classic songs
Also Iâm a Lupe stan but I ainât giving him that, his fall off was pretty significant I donât think he belongs in the same breath as Ye Tribe and Kast
When you talk about discography youâre talking about albums in general though lol
Drake for sure has more mainstream hits than Tyler but Tylerâs work from Flower Boy to where we are today clears Drakeâs last 5 albums easily and I donât care about his newer hits lol
Lupe really only has 2 mid albums but the rest of his s*** is actually great but I see where youâre coming from.
Tbh NWTS tracklist has grown on me more through the years but Iâll always feel like Come Thru and The Motion shouldâve been on the standard tracklist over Own It and The Language
Semi agree. Keep Own It and instead get rid of SFTB and replace it with All Me. Come Thru Iâd maybe put somewhere but I dunno, always been indifferent to that one
100% on switching The Language and The Motion
Kanye clearly has the strongest discography
Especially when you add what he's produced lol
It's not really close imo
it would feel weird if drake dropped another full length project before 21 ngl
Not really
21 did many features immediately after Her Loss
He has iconic songs, verses, feats, and singles but his album work is filled with a lot of flaws and filler. Even the albums you listed, which I fw, have flaws in them that make those albums solid 7s imo.
There are maybe 20-25 albums in rap history that can be considered flawless.
Most impactful/influential rap albums have filler/weak album cuts that get neglected because the stronger cuts are so strong that it doesn't matter.
This idea that an album has to be "flawless" to be considered good/classic/impactful is stupid. Even the rap albums widely considered to be some of the greatest of all time have multiple cuts people skip when they revisit them.

Easily
Kanye has by far the best discography
Drake is top 3 too
Ppl will say his later albums arenât that good, but if you just look at songs, there literally is no rapper w more good songs than Drake
He 100% does. But unfortunately, that's something people will never admit till he's no longer doing this s*** and they're left with whatever this new generation of rappers are.

Niggas calling me crazy for the suggestions I said of all the artists I name, most of them literally have no skips on their albums lol

I got Drake top 5 for sure
At least in my own rankings

Iâm not just talking mainstream hits though, I donât think Tyler has many if any songs as perfect as Dreams Money Can Buy or Paris Morton Music. Tyler is kind of a weird case where the albums are great but the songs arenât really all that lol.
I used to think a lot in terms of âfillerâ but Iâve started to think less like that when I realized that even though an album like Flower Boy is less âflawedâ than Take Care, what does it matter if the highs arenât even a fraction as high
That's cap
You don't have to agree. That's why I said "I think."
