Actually haven’t checked it out yet but I liked the revised ssj4 design

    Haven’t watched Daima

Shouldn't be toooo difficult to fix that if they do intend to do so. Didn't they already have it so the Zenos were about to wipe the universes, but Goku incidentally bought them all some more time? that may have been manga only idk

Coulda been manga, I haven’t seen the arc since airing so I could be misremembering but I’m not sure I am

Yes this is true. Common misconception that Goku put everyone at stake, when he really gave em a fighting chance.

Whis mentions that weaker universes were on the chopping block, and Zeno him/themselves mention they had plans of destroying weaker universes (Also probably would have included universe 7 since their mortal rank was low).

Goku then brings up the intrauniversal tournament they discussed during the Universe 6 tournament (Started by Beerus and Champa btw) as a means of the other universes being able to prove their worth, thus prove their further existence.

But the message that was sent to the other universes was simply that GOKU suggested the idea of weaker universes being eliminated through tournament style fighting.

This is why many of the G.O.D's and certain characters from other Universes kept calling Goku a villain.

They had already heard about what happened with Goku Black/Future trunks/meddling of the timelines, and see Goku as somewhat culpable for it since he resembles Black. This just made their paranoia about him worse.

Remember Toppo kept calling goku an evil Villain.

thats how I always took it, tbh. havent rewatched it in a minute, but i just got my hands on the Super Manga till Moro, so I might watch the super anime again.

always took the Tournament of power arc as a Punishment/test of morality due to the consequences of the Future trunks arc, but it wasn't transitioned very well. Hopefully this remake/remaster stuff does a better job at it.

If u look at what the future trunks arc was about, it was pretty much about a Government official (Kai) going rogue, attempting to cause anarchy (killing all the Kais leading to the GODs and angels to disappear). Zeno took this as a imbalance of life, therefore he wanted to step in to put it back in balance (Kill everyone else, just keep 1 universe alive to closely monitor that one.)

Zeno basically thinks if the mortals there are strong enough to kill a Rogue government official, then they should be able to live (hence why in the T.O.P, they have a "mortal rank" system).
So Goku basically told them "Well instead of Just killing them, make them prove their Strength by having em fight eachother in a battle royale. That way you know the Mortals in that Universe are more than capable of handling a Rogue incident akin to Zamasu if that happens again).

they probably dont have the T.O.P if trunks kills goku black/Black dies in first encounter with goku either by him or with Beerus/vegetas help early on, before he went on to cause ruckus enough for Zeno to notice.

remember although Future Zamasu is immortal because he made the wish, it was actually Goku Black that killed all the Kais lol. I dont think future zamasu himself would be able to do that. He's just helping transport Black around since he has the Time Ring/has extensive knowledge of where the Kais would be.

He might do a few of em in, but eventually someone strong would have noticed and went and told someone/zeno to erase him.

4:37 you only ever see goku blacks silhouette do all the killing lol.
Hopefully in the remake we actually get some less important parts get cut out, and actually SEE them both travel to the other universes and kill them. It'd be interesting to see how they actually infiltrated the place, instead of certain other parts. it'd to a better job transitioning it to the TOP

Yeah it was in the anime
Grand Priest revealed it & said if anyone made a selfish wish all the universes would've been erased

Thought it was pretty cool how they explored Vegeta/Goku’s quests to become stronger and how their personality traits are more or less holding them back in some capacity. They both need to embrace each others flaws (how they see it) in order to evolve

Also also the arc with older Trunks/Goten was cute seeing how much they changed since we first saw them in the Buu saga

  • Hopefully if they re trying to marry with the manga they make Goku and vegeta act a little more like themselves

In the anime Goku legit acts like a 5 year old that was dropped on his head and vegeta instead of being a s*** talking trouble maker is a boring dweeb who just crosses his arms and goes hmph over and over
