Also, with it supposedly being 18 episodes, I wonder if they'll adapt all the way through the Future Trunks Saga (24 chapters in total).

The Tournament of Power arc is only 15 chapters long, so that could work as a 12 episode season as well.

It's kinda crazy how much filler the DBS anime had.

They can add manga stuff to the regular show but it would be crazy for them to straight up adapt the Manga ToP as it is in the manga.

The anime canon & manga canon are both their own canon, the manga ToP's first chapter came out 8 months after the ToP started in the anime & the anime ToP was finished when the 2nd chapter came out.

The issue is that they would run out of material eventually, they'd only have the Broly, Moro, Granolah/Gas, Super Hero & Saiyaman X arcs.

This way they probably have time to see if Toyotarou will actually be given permission to continue the manga.

Feels like there’s going to be a 10-year manga/anime lapse with all of these remakes. Good grief

Ngl, I thought it was unnecessary for Super to adapt those 2 movies with minor changes and s***ty animation back then instead of just continuing from the movies. And what they're doing right now makes even less sense. The animation was bad even back then yeah, but it still feels way too soon for this

Not a huge Dragon Ball fan anymore, so maybe I'm just not the target audience here

I dont think they are doing the future trunks saga immediately after this, but i think they will do that one after moro is done and they release during the break while theyre doing the granolah arc

With them not even recording any new lines there not being an English dub already is inexcusable
